When the door opened and admitted Nia Long and Gabrielle Union I was shocked to see Gabrielle but she had to be the guest Nia was going to bring.
"It's been so long girl and you just happen to show up today" Jada said.
"We were talking the other day, I brought up girls night and she said she wanted to join us again" Nia responded. I watched almost everyone except Sanaa migrate right into the kitchen and I almost thought that I should do the same but I just didn't move. I wish Taraji would just come back. Turning around on the couch searching for Taraji I spotted her talking to Gabrielle, she kept the conversation short grabbing my drink off the counter and Nia's wrist. I turned around on the couch and she approached me and held out my drink.
"Here you go baby"
"Thank you." Before I could even say anything else she pulled Nia into a room. Uh uh, what the hell?
"Tai- can I call you Tai?" Jada asked and I nodded. "You good girl?"
"Yeah is Raji and Nia good?" I watched her nod, she started telling me that it wasn't nothing serious and that I could trust Raji with any one of them especially Nia. Girl fuck that, bring me my girl neow. She sat down in her original spot and sparked up a conversation with me. I kept a smile on my face trying and hopefully not failing to show my irritation, I don't know what's going on in that room between my girlfriend and Nia Long. I looked back down the hallway and seen Raji, Nia, Mary and Regina come out the same room she just disappeared in. I don't know why seeing the four of them come out calmed me a lot more than just seeing her and Nia.
"I need another blunt and no I'm not fucking rolling" Taraji said.
"Well you're not smoking then" Jade responded.
"I'll do it Raji" Gabrielle said. Jada rolled her eyes and stood up.
"Nevermind I got it" She walked out the room.
"Baby you okay?" I asked when Taraji finally sat down.
"Mhm" I pressed a kiss to her cheek making her turn her head then I planted a kiss to her lips. She smiled pulling me closer before breaking our kiss.
"...Umm, I'm definitely missing something. When did this happen?" Gabrielle asked.
"It's been almost a year"
"Really, since you two started filming"
"Well no, not right away but-"
"Aren't you married?" She pointed to the ring that was still on my hand and I looked down at it. I mostly wore it just so paparazzi didn't go crazy and out my divorce, the last thing I wanted was to be on TMZ, or the shade room.
"Yeah I'm still married but I'm also getting a divorce"
"All of this for Taraji" She looked at Taraji before looking back at me.
