It was January now and Ari had a doctors appointment to go to this morning so she would be going to school late today. I've been keeping her for almost four months now and we've gotten into a routine. I didn't even have to wake Ari up because she always woke herself up and then she'd go wake up Jade. I finally had full custody of her that ruling was made yesterday to be exact and I felt a lot more at ease like I had control of the situation a lot more now. Tracy had been visiting a lot more especially since she told Ari about her marriage to Miguel which did not go over well.
Today was the golden globes so it was going to be a busy day. I had already taken a shower and gotten dressed in black jeans and a blue long sleeve shirt and some blue and white Nike tennis shoes. I grabbed my purse and headed out of my room. "Come on girls!" I called out to them as I headed downstairs and grabbed my keys off the table in the foyer. They came down the stairs with their backpacks on, Jade was dressed in a red Nike shorts tracksuit and white t shirt and her hair was in a ponytail. Ari was dressed in jean shorts, a white shirt and a jean jacket with her hair down. It's been two weeks since she got her locs done and she was already asking me if she could take them down. I didn't cook this morning because I was going to get them breakfast on the way, we stopped at a Starbucks and I ordered our drinks and we all got a breakfast sandwich to eat. I glanced over to Ari in my passenger seat when her phone started ringing, it was a FaceTime call from My Boo😍. I rolled my eyes and switched my hands on the wheel so I could eat my sandwich with my left and then put it down. "When you gon let me meet this little boy that got you pregnant."
"Mm mm"
"Didn't he say he should meet mom?" Jade asked Ari.
"He was talking about Tracy"
"He wants to meet Tracy and not mom? If you don't want him to meet mama, you don't want him to meet Tracy either. You know how her mouth is."
"Nah this one over here is worse and you know it"
"Please mama is harmless"
"You tell her baby, but just so you know when I do meet him I'm not going to be nice by no means"
"And that's why I'm not letting you two meet"
"Imma meet him don't worry about it" She eyed me probably wondering what I meant by that. I meant exactly what the hell I said. Terrance knew where this boy lived so I'm just going to get his address from him and I'm thinking about going to go meet this boy by myself. I pulled up to the high school and Jade got out. She opened Ari's door and stepped up to hug her.
"Bye sister, hurry back! Bye baby Jade"
"I'm not naming my kid after you, but you can be the god mom"
