"Ma!" I was sitting outside in the backyard when Dallas called me. He poked his head out of the sliding door. I gave him my full attention.
"Can Nadia come over?"
"Yes, you two can stay in the living room."
"We can't go to my room? I'll leave the door open."
"Nope."
"Fine. Thanks, ma." He left and was about to close the door when Angelo and Analeia asked to come outside. He let them out and closed the door.
"Mommy, can we go to the zoo?"
"Yeah, did you ask mama?"
"Mama gone."
"Gone?" Before I came outside she was in her office and now she's gone, she didn't even come say bye or anything. "Let me call Mama, go tell your sister we're gonna go to the zoo."
"Okay." Dallas was gonna have to come with us too now because no one would be home to watch him and his girlfriend. I stood to open the door for them and they ran inside. After I closed it behind them I went to sit down and pulled out my phone to call my wife.
Me - where did you go? I waited a while for her to respond. I decided that I had her location so I just went to check it. When I got on the app her car was parked. I zoomed in and saw that she was parked at a house I didn't know, it wasn't any of her friends at all.
Mine📍🫶🏾- I had to go help a friend. Instead of getting caught stalking, I responded differently than I actually wanted to.
Me - We were going to go to the zoo and I wanted you to come with us.
Mine📍🫶🏾- I'll be home soon or I can meet you at the zoo.
Me - Just meet us there.
Mine📍🫶🏾- Okay. I love you.
Me - I love you too! I stood from my seat and went inside the house. I was wearing lounging clothes so I went upstairs to change into something different. I changed into some shorts and a red top. After changing my clothes and packing my purse with keys and phone I went into Dallas's room. "You need to put on some clothes, we're gonna go to the zoo."
"What about my girl? She supposed to be coming over."
"She can come too, just tell her to meet us there."
"Okay." He stood from his bed and went into his closet when I left his room. I went into Keziah's room and she was packing her pink book bag.
