Itadori Yuji POV

It's now obvious that Mr. Gojo didn't want us to come with them, but I don't understand why he bragged about looking for a new house with Y/n after school if he didn't want us to tag along. When Nobara gave me the look, I knew what we had to do. We had to tag along no matter what. Anything to leave the jujutsu high. Nobara might be a bit of a... difficult person, but we share a common goal.

Sightseeing around Tokyo.

So here we are, on our way to the third house. We might have lied about a mission for Megumi to come too, but it worked.

"Mr. Gojo, are you sure you don't want to gift me a house?" Nobara pokes his neck from behind his car seat, but Gojo turns his limitless on. "Hey!" She reproaches as she crosses her arms in front of her, muttering something I probably don't want to hear.

What is she even thinking? Even I know that's asking for too much. "Mr. Gojo, can I have my own room?" I ask.

"If he gets a room, I want a room. Megumi wants one too." Nobara looks at me with her eyes squinted as if I wasn't the one that asked first.

"No, I don't." Megumi seems annoyed, but I've learned that his face always looks like that.

"I think I need to buy a house too," says Y/n.

I can feel my stomach drop as the car breaks abruptly, everyone holding on when we get pushed forward as the car comes to a stop.

"What the fuck?!" Nobara holds on to Megumi as she looks out the windows.

Is it a curse?

"Are you kids okay?" Y/n looks back at us, sighing with relief before her eyes snap back to him. "Satoru what happened?!"

Mr. Gojo looks at her with a weird expression. What is he thinking? "I'm sorry um... there was a cat in the... in the road." He coughs slightly, clearing his throat. "Y/n, you should know that houses are expensive; most of them are people trying to scam money out of you. Besides, a woman living alone in a house is dangerous; you never know who your neighbors are. Don't get me started on the maintenance that comes-" Gojo speaks fast to the point the whole car is silent as he starts driving again.

Nobara taps on my shoulder. "I think he is yapping," she whispers.

He totally is.

"I'm being serious, Nobara! Women in Tokyo have to be extra careful; there are too many pervs and weirdos roaming around." Mr. Gojo is looking at her through the rearview mirror with a weird expression, almost like he is urging us to follow along.

Does he want us to agree with him?

"Isn't Y/n the strongest sorcerer in the last 1000 years?" Megumi speaks, and I think we can all feel the change in atmosphere as Mr. Gojo's energy seems to widen inside the car, his aura seems on edge, the three of us sink into our seats. That's until I feel my heart drop as he turns around not seeming to care about the fact he is driving.

Ah fuck.

"Satoru, look at the road!" Y/n holds the wheel as Mr. Gojo glares at Megumi. I can feel my heart go faster the longer he spends looking back at us. I can feel the way we all hold on to the car.

"Look at the road!" Nobara holds on to the door and so do I.

"Megumi... I would get it if Yuji or Nobara said that, but my own... my Megumi? I think I wasn't clear eno-" his voice hitches as Y/n pulls him back into the seat.

"Gojo, sit!" Gojo looks like a grounded kid as his hands return to the wheel. "What the fuck are you thinking!"

God, please bless Y/n.
