Kenjaku's POV
How can you come close to defeating the most powerful being that was ever created? An arrogant being, always accompanied by the weight of his sins. His biggest curse, his only weakness.
For you to defeat such a being, you need them to realize just how impotent they are to it all.
Break the hope of them ever being free.
God might not hate them, but fate does, making me the guardian of the script a thousand years ago. Making me part of the elite in this life. Their fate forever broken by the whim of an all powerful being, feeling threatened by a confidence he himself created.
I bow that I'll never let them see the apology the creator left for them, the key he hoped could break the endless cycle they are forced to repeat. I wonder if his decision was fueled by guilt. Once cast out of the realm, there is nothing God can do without breaking the source of his power. He sacrificed himself to try to save them.
They are alone now, stuck with their curses. Abandoned.
Power is the only certain thing in this world, yet he gave it all away in the hopes of forgiveness.
The things that surround you change the inherent pure soul you are born with. You can be a being devoid of filth, but it only takes a speck for you to go down a cycle. Trying to rub it off only spreads it, until the sensation of filth is something you take as normality. What is another spot on a dirty canvas?
An omniscient being can not exist uncorrupted, perfect. Age and experience can ruin anything and everything.
He sent them here to balance the scales between good and bad. A selfish demand made drunk on power, his last hope of fixing what he broke. Us curses being the living proof of how getting closer to death itself is a sin.
How hypocritical.
"How did you get him out?" I ask Hanami as she walks inside, Jogo walking closely behind, his eye twitching. With Mahito gone; losing Jogo would have compromised the plan.
It's a good thing they tried to question him.
Humans' worst mistake is assuming there will be more time to finish the job.
"Distracted them with the two kids." Hanami answers. Jogo just stares blankly at towards me.
Is his ego hurt from their fight?
"Tell me again the plan on how we will seal him?" Jogo sits next to me as I take another sip to my tea. "The girl too, you said she would be easy to manage."
"Leave her to me." I let the cup of tea down on the table. "I will repeat it for you, the prison realm, there is not a soul that cannot be sealed inside that cube."
It took them long enough to question the security of my plan.
"There must be conditions for one to seal them in, right?" Jogo asks, his eyes turning darker with each question.
"One minute." We are not dealing with regular humans, they are the fallen ones. "We have to keep Gojo inside of a four meter radius around the box for at least a minute." I respond.
I can feel the air around me rise in temperature.
Idiotic, young curses.
I guess I could truly say he is hot headed.
I don't move as Jogo stands up, leaning down to meet my eye level. "I'm going to burn you to death." I look up at his angry expression. "You didn't join forces with us just to push this impossible task on us, did you?" His voice sizzles in anger. "I don't care how rattled we get him, we stand no chance on this fight., the girl is more than even you could handle."
"It's alright, even though we need a minute, we can seal them both." I try my best to hold the polite smile this body is used to using. "We only need a minute inside Gojo Satoru's mind, don't you think seeing his long deceased friend will make him think about the good old times?" I reply.
Possessing this body granted me more than just a powerful technique.
This truly is a master plan.
"Them?" I look back to the house to find Choso leaning on the door frame. "I thought there was only one prison realm. Are there two?" He comes closer sitting on an empty chair.
"Of course there is not!" Jogo's head starts to smoke, "Brat, do you expect me to believe it can hold two people inside." He yells out.
Fool.
"The prison realm, it holds a soul." I have to breathe in to hold my grin. "Gojo and Y/n are soul bound. If we take one down, the other one falls inside too."
My eyes go to Jogo as he starts to scoff, his laughing turning louder and louder.
Like you thought about it. Beast.
Choso's hand settles on Jogo, making him hold the noise in. "Soul bound..." Choso looks up towards me. "If we can pick either one, why Gojo Satoru?
"Let's just say she... wouldn't doubt but run from the sight of a box." I pick up the cup of tea.
"Soul bound, how genius." He wipes a tear out of his eye. "How did they even bound their souls?" Jogo asks as he keeps laughing.
If they were looking for the fingers.
They'll probably feed them to Yuji, one a day.
"We will act on three days." He will have consumed the last one on Halloween. "It is time."
-------------------------
I am about to go into vacation so work load is going down, finally have time on working on this like before. Dont mind the religious trauma dump lmaoo.
A shorter chapter but an important one.
I was going to make it longer to give my pretty boy choso more screen time, but i guess this will have to do, adding more would be just filler, for this chapter's mood i prefer not to.
