Becky wakes up with the loud ringing of her alarm. She groans and shuts it off, staying in bed a few more minutes before having to get up and face the new day.

But then the door bursts open, and Mind storms into the room.

"Need the bathroom." She rushes in.

Becky looked confused at Irin in the doorway,

"Lux is in the other one." Irin said

"Oh. My. God! That's new!" Irin said, looking at Becky's face.

"I just woke up. Do I look that bad?" She asked with a pout.

Just then, Billy came out of nowhere,

"You can't look bad even if you tried."

"Go and take your flirting somewhere else." Irin said, throwing the first thing she got in her hands.

"Have no idea what I will have to put up with now!" Irin scoffed.

"What? You never had roommates?"

"Nope. Perks of being a single child, your parents follow you everywhere around."

"That can't be all good."

"Oh! Trust me, it's not. What about you?"

"Too many roommates, to be honest." Becky sighed. It wasn't an easy topic.

"I left home when I was 13. Went to boarding school. And in college, I stayed in the dorms."

"Perks of having rich parents."

"Nope. It's more like absent ones."

"Seriously?" Irin asked, suddenly feeling bad for her.

"Yes. Mum was always busy saving lives. Dad, he was never actually there. I don't know how Richie stuck around."

"Wow!! I didn't expect that."

"Yeah, we are not this happy family that you all think."

"Don't worry! Now you have a new family in us."

"Only until she's had enough and kick us out." It was Billy again.

"You guys can't be that bad."

With an evil smirk, Billy spoke,

"Did I mention? William woke up almost half an hour ago and went to your kitchen. If you go now, maybe you can save your kitchen or what is left of it from a disaster."

It was at this moment that she regretted offering up her place for all of them to stay. She already had a place, which her mother got for her. Might as well make use of the space. But if she knew she would be dealing with some kids in adult bodies, she definitely wouldn't have.

She ran to the kitchen.

"Everything's in place." She said, releasing the breath she was holding.

"What?" William asked, turning around from the stove at the sudden interruption. The man looks too invested in whatever he's doing.

"This place is still new. Please don't burn it down."

William scoffed.

"Billy told you, didn't he? Worry not, I'm an excellent cook. He's just messing with you."

Once everyone was ready and seated, William brought out the breakfast he prepared.

"Breakfast is served. Try for yourself." He said, looking at Becky.

It's been days since Becky had anything home cooked. She was too lazy to cook.

"Wow!" She almost moaned at the taste.
