Hours went by and it was midnight, I was still asleep in my bed however I started to sweat.

He had been reading the book well past midnight so he had been sitting in my room and reading for a long time now. And the way I suddenly started to sweat caught his curiosity, so he kept an eye out and he looked at me carefully from the corner of his eyes as he kept reading. He didn't want to disturb me in case I happened to wake up so he just continued to read and he remained silent.

A few more minutes went by and I was still slightly sweating, he figured that I might be having a nightmare due to my past and struggles. So he decided to see if he could do something to help ease the symptoms of my restlessness.

He gently placed the book down and moved closer to me, he wanted to see if he could ease some of my restlessness. He kept the tone of his voice gentle and soft though, he didn't want to sound too loud or disruptive when he spoke. He was trying to be cautious with his approach.

He put his hand on my forehead gently, he was now going to check if I had a fever. If I had a fever due to my restlessness that would imply that maybe I was also suffering from some sort of sickness along with my nightmares. That would explain the sudden sweating and why I was experiencing these symptoms.

He waited for a bit as he felt my temperature and it seemed that I did indeed have a fever. That did support the idea that I might have a type of sickness along with my nightmares that was causing me to sweat and suffer through this uneasy slumber.

I started to wake up and cuddled into the blanket.

He noticed how I began to gradually wake up and how I snuggled into the blankets as I began to stir. He tried his best not to be too disruptive, he had a feeling that this was the result of my fever and I was probably feeling pretty weak due to it. So he knew he had to keep his tone of voice calm and gentle as he spoke so he didn't end up scaring me or making things worse.

He let out a small breath as he saw me start to wake up and he kept his gentle tone of voice as he spoke once more.

"How are you feeling..." He spoke quietly and gently, there was a hint of concern in his voice as he asked this. He was worried about how I was feeling due to my fever and the way I was suffering through a restless slumber.

"Too warm," I said quietly.

He nodded his head as he heard me speak quietly, he had a feeling that the fever was making me feel warm and it was probably why I sweated so much as I slept. He decided to move his hand just a bit higher so it was now on my cheek.

I snuggled into the covers and looked up at him.

He noticed how I snuggled more into the covers, probably because I liked how soft and comfortable the blankets felt. And I also looked up at him shortly after, I had a hint of feebleness in my appearance due to my fever and he could tell I felt weak by the way I was looking at him.

He looked down at me, he noticed the feebleness and he knew that I was suffering through this fever. I looked so weak, he could tell that that weakness was also causing me to have difficulty when it came to speaking. So he decided to remain silent, not wanting to put extra pressure on me. He just looked at me and smiled gently, hoping that it could ease my discomfort to some extent.

A worker came to my room and saw Harrow in it asking for his help with another patient.

He quickly got up as he heard the worker calling out for his help.

"Of course, I'll be right there," He replied politely to the worker as he stood up.

I watched him leave, and that's when I started to feel alone.

He stepped out of the room and closed the door behind him, he was now gone leaving me alone in the room again. I felt lonely as soon as he left me, it seemed like I was attached to him now. My gaze was still focused on the door he had just stepped out of, thinking about how he was going to go help another patient while I had to stay alone.

Time passed by and it felt like he simply wasn't returning. As I sat up in my bed, I watched the door he had stepped out of, I was becoming frustrated because he hadn't come back yet. And I was starting to feel rather lonely without him there with me and a small pout appeared on my face as well. There was no indication as to when he was coming back so I had to wait patiently and hope he made his return soon.

Another few minutes passed and there still was no sign of him returning, the moment felt like it was being stretched with how alone I felt. The silence felt rather deafening as well, and the loneliness was creeping up on me once more. The frown on my face slightly deepened due to me feeling frustrated with the situation.

I slowly got out of bed, feeling the dizziness hit me. I took slow breaths and slowly left my room, I walked out of the hallway to the backyard holding my blanket in my arms, I looked to see if anyone was following me but they weren't. So I walked to the cherry blossom tree, I sat down, my back leaned up against it, I put the blanket over my legs and I looked up at the sky watching the stars illuminate the night sky.
