"It's fine," I said gently.
Harrow smiled a bit as I spoke to him, and my gentleness towards him seemed to ease the guilt he felt.
"Are you... alright...?" He started speaking in a soft and concerned manner as he looked at me yet again, trying to see if I was ok. My gentle smile was nice to see, so that was a good sign that I was ok.
I nodded.
"You sure...?" Harrow spoke yet again, as he still felt a bit conflicted by how I was replying to him. I had been pretty short in my responses, and I had only nodded, for now, he felt like he had maybe upset me.
"I'm okay," I reassured him.
Harrow was still a little nervous, he noticed that I didn't seem to be speaking that much and I was just pretty closed off and quiet right now. It seemed to make sense now, though...
"So... you aren't upset with me... right...?" Harrow asked softly as he looked at me, hoping to get some confirmation of whether I was still alright.
I shook my head.
Harrow then noticed that I was still smiling gently as I continued to nod my head. He was glad to see that, at least, he would rather me not be upset or angry with him, especially considering what had happened previously.
"Well... in that case, it's okay then..."Harrow concluded with a soft smile as he sighed in a mix of relief and guilt.
Hours went by, it was now later in the evening. There was a storm outside, and lightning thunder was appearing meaning the weather was going to get worse. I brought my blanket, my hands were shaken. I went to Harrow's office and knocked on the door gently.
Harrow was still inside his office, just doing some documentation and paperwork as it was the perfect time for him to get that done. Despite the storm, he was still pretty calm and collected and didn't mind much about it. He was busy typing some stuff on his desktop computer.
He suddenly heard a light knock on his office... the knock itself was pretty gentle enough that it didn't seem to interrupt what he was doing. However, he still got up from his chair and walked over to open the door to see who it was that knocked.
His jaw dropped when he saw that it was me... I was here... although it was currently storming and there was lots of thunder and lightning outside, I came here, and I knocked on his door.
"Oh... Aella... come in..." He was surprised as he was not expecting this visit, though he was certainly not against it in any form.
I walked inside before he knew it. I walked over to him before hugging him for comfort.
He was surprised by how fast I had walked over to him and then wrapped my arms around him, he had not expected that I would come running over to him, but it was quite a nice surprise.
Once he realized I was hugging him... which took him a moment to realize, he responded by wrapping his arms around me and hugging me back, holding me close to him and providing me with the comfort I needed right now.
I continued to hold onto him, my head nuzzled into his chest.
Harrow smiled as he saw, and felt me putting my head against his chest and holding on to him so tightly, that had to mean that I was feeling the need for comfort right now.
He then ran a hand through my hair gently, he wanted to provide as much comfort and reassurance for me as possible. He was pretty sure that that was exactly what I needed right now.
I continued to stay in his tight embrace, my hands gripped onto the clothing on his back. My face nuzzled more into his chest, I closed my eyes tightly.
Harrow simply remained there, his arms tightly held around me as my head was buried into his chest, he let me keep my hands gripping onto him, as that also provided a level of comfort to me, a more physical one if anything.
He then ran another hand through my hair again, he wanted me to be able to keep my eyes closed and remain there for as long as I wanted to. He didn't mind how long it would take for me to feel better... he would happily be there for me until that happened.
I glanced up at him, my eyes softened.
"Feeling a bit better now...?" He asked softly as he saw that I had just glanced up at him, my heart rate had now returned to normal, so that was good.
He kept running the palm of his hand over my hair as he kept holding me close to him, not wanting to let me go just yet. It's not like he minded how long this little hug was going to last, he enjoyed having my arms around him as much as I enjoyed being held by him as well.
I nodded, and I kept looking up at him. The feelings I had the other day were suddenly returning and I couldn't control it. I got up on my tippy toes before I gently gave him a soft kiss.
Harrow was caught off guard a bit by my sudden movement, I suddenly got up on my tip toes as I kissed him, and his mouth slightly opened as he was caught completely off guard... at least he was until he felt his heart start beating faster and a warm sensation rush over his face.
He responded by gently pulling me closer to him as I kissed him and he gave me a small kiss back, it was clear that his feelings were returning as well... and he definitely didn't mind...
Harrow smiled as I pulled back, he saw that my cheeks were completely flushed in a deep shade of red and he couldn't help but feel his heart race at that sight. I had a rather adorable blush on me.
He then saw the way I looked up at him, almost as if I wanted to kiss him again, well that is exactly what he wanted...
Harrow leaned in again, and this time he kissed me back, he didn't mind being the one to initiate the kiss this time.
