I walked through the huge revolving doors and entered Canada.

The breeze was crisper on this side; it felt refreshing after all the thick city buildings. We started walking towards the falls, and I thought about the bus ride and all that had happened.

My nightmares seemed to cycle through, rotating and repeating every few days, and today, I had the Camp Jupiter one. I would be standing on the Argo 2 deck, and I could feel the chill of the spirit inside of me, but this time it didn't leave. I had blown the entire city below to bits, my friends were gone, I'd killed them.

Usually, I would wake up panting and sweating, but halfway through the horror today, it  just vanished. The nightmare was gone, leaving a welcoming darkness.

And then, when I did wake up, it was because I couldn't ignore the tingle running up my spine any longer.

It made no sense to me.

There was a sudden cracking sound, like a glacier shifting; it resonated like a roar. We all stopped, and (Y/n) turned back to look at me.

"Come on." She mumbled and started running towards the falls.

"Since when do we run towards the monster noises?!"

The eight of us rounded the corner to see a mind-bending scene unfolding before our eyes.

The falls were frozen with ice, and tall cylinders and pillars of white spilled from between a crescent-shaped pool. A bit of water fell beneath the ice shield, creating a frosty spray at the waterfall's base. Ice and snow whipped around as spectators fled, and a giant stood in the middle of it all.

A huge blue man with white hair stood knee-deep in the frozen lake, laughing as ice erupted from the earth.

"Is that...?"

"Hydros," Melog answered beside me as she took out her weapons.

"Something's different, though," Nico whispered, squinting his dark brown eyes to get a better look.

The son of Hades was right.

Hydros was the primordial god of water, yet his body was armoured in icy spikes and shards. Annabeth had made us study the entire Greek bloodlines after the war, and solids were not something I remembered being associated with this guy.

"Let's go," Will mumbled, grabbing his bow. He wasn't the best Apollo had at archery, but he was passable with the weapon.

"We attack from the sides; he's too big. If we go together, he'll get us all at once." (Y/n) yelled and began running up the path to the top of the falls while everyone else scattered.

"Festus," he knew exactly what I was thinking. Growing into the majestic, full-sized bronze dragon he was, he let a jet of fire escape his jaws.

I grabbed Harley and hoisted him onto Festus's back.

"Attack from the sky. He'll have a hard time reaching you. Throw anything you can come up with at him."

Harley nodded and grabbed onto the bronze metal plates, ready to take off, when I put a hand to pause him.

"I want you to know that I believe in you and know you can do this. Good luck, Bud." He smiled at me, and then the two shot up into the sky, disappearing above the frosty air.

Then I ran towards the guard rail, hopping over it and landing on a flimsy piece of ice.

"Hurry," (Y/n)yelled, I could see the strain it was taking to keep me up.

I blasted fire at the god, who just roared, batting me to the side. I went flying into someone, taking them down with me.

"Get off me, you dirt ball." Liam hissed, pushing me off of him; his head lay a few feet away, my weight having accidentally knocked it off.
