I awoke with a start and looked down at myself.

I was in my camp clothes, but someone had thrown Leo's hoodie over my shirt.

Suddenly, I took notice of the people in the room.

Leo and Harley stood at the foot of my cot, their backs to me as they talked with an Apollo camper holding a clipboard.

I could only see the back of him, but it was obvious this had been rough for Leo. His hair was wilder than normal, and his shirt wrinkled like he hadn't changed since the battle.

Just thinking of him made my heart clench.

"How long are you guys going to stand around my bed like a bunch of creepers?"

I mumbled, my throat screaming for a drink.

The two boys spun around so fast I thought they'd given themselves whiplash.

"(Y/n)!!"

I held open my arms, and Harley scrambled onto the cot, hugging me tightly. The movement left my body screaming, but I was just glad he was safe.

Leo made his way to the seat at my side, snagging my hand.

"Careful bud. She's breakable, remember," He said.

I cast him a sideways glance as Harley sat in the covers by my side. Leo was grinning from ear to ear, and I finally got a good look at his face.

There was a cut just below his hairline that had been stitched up, and dark bags shadowed his warm eyes.

"You know, a normal person would immediately say that they're gushing blood. But no, you had to go and bleed all over the place and faint first," he whispered, kissing my knuckles, and I felt my face turn red.

Harley seemed to get what was going on, I mean he was eight, not stupid.

He slipped from the bed and made his way to the door, "I'm gonna go check on Nico, feel better (Y/n)!"

Then he shut the door. I turned back to Leo, suddenly spotting the glass of water on the side table. I reached out, feeling every part of my body scream; I sucked in a sharp breath. Gently, Leo reached over before handing me the glass.

I took a couple of sips, the cool water trickling down my throat. I put the cup down, finally looking him in the eyes.

I was filled with emotion.

"I'm so glad you're okay." I choked, the happiness of seeing his face making my eyes water.

He laughed, tears welling in the corner of his eyes.

"What?"

"You're sitting in a hospital bed with six broken ribs and scalp stitches, and you're worried about me."

I reached out, grasping his hand tightly, my ring glistening.

"It's because I love you," I whispered.

"Don't say that. You'll never be able to get rid of me if you say that," He smiled, leaning closer.

"And for that, I'll be dying by the time I'm twenty."

He leaned forward, our lips meeting. Despite the screaming in my chest, I moved over so he could hop up onto the bed without breaking our embrace.

I pulled away, Leo letting his head rest against my shoulder. I let my hand run delicately through his hair.

"But seriously, how are you feeling?" I asked as he stared up at me.

"Flustered, impressed, like the worlds on fire, slightly-"
