Chapter 28 Leo

Something burst through the water beside us, and the boat pitched sideways.

I watched (Y/n) go flying over the side, the rest of us hanging on for our lives.

Two giant men emerged from the ocean, shrouded in steam.

One I recognized as Poseidon, and the other sent chills up my spine. I don't know how he was here, loose. But the idea of him being up and free made me want to curl up and hide.

Prometheus stood in the ocean, facing off against the sea god himself and the waves lapping around his ankles. He lunged at Poseidon, taking him down near our ship, drenching the deck.

I don't know what the mortals were seeing, but they were absolutely losing it.

Poseidon sent a glance at where we were standing.

He smiled.

"Hey Leo, How's it going?"

"Uh, good?"

His green eyes flickered over to Melog, and I couldn't help but notice how similar they were to Percy's.

"Hello, daughter."

Melog's face hardened.

"Father," she nodded.

I knew that all Naiads were related to Poseidon somehow, but it was rare for a direct descendant. I couldn't imagine how happy Percy would be when we told him he had a sister.

"Wha- How?"

"There's no time for that!" Liam interrupted me, clutching his head to his neck; his eyes flitted over to where (Y/n) had disappeared before looking back at the God, "How can we help?"

I had forgotten the fact that Dolos was an apprentice to Prometheus; in fact, it was he who dubbed Dolos the God of trickery and deception. He had made some fake statue of the goddess Veritas, though he had run out of clay for the feet, and the creator of mankind thought it was so real looking he put him in charge of mayhem and craftiness.

Poseidon smiled, punching Prometheus off of him. The titan flew a few feet away, landing in the water with a splash.

"Will, take Nico somewhere safe. Leo, protect the ship, we can't have anyone getting hurt. Liam, help get everyone below deck," He turned to Melog and offered her his hand, "Melog, come with me; we need to stop this before he destroys everything."

She hopped on his hand, being lifted to his gigantic shoulder.

Just as he was about to turn away, there was a shout from the other side of the ship.

"What about me?"

(Y/n) stood on the deck, her swimsuit and hair drenched, her shoulders heaved and I watched a look cross her face, one I've only seen worn by Annabeth the last time she saw Hera.

Her sword was out in front of her, and the deck around her feet began to freeze.

Her dark eyes seem to glow, the sky above beginning to grow gray.

The God laughed, extending his other hand.

"Let's go girls. We've got a titan to kill."Poseidon made his way closer to the attacker.

"(Y/n), I need you to distract him. Melog, while (Y/n) has him preoccupied, you'll help me create bonds to hold him down. Then I'll call my brother and see what we should do with him."

Suddenly, Prometheus spoke up, holding his stomach to keep from laughing.

"I see you have found yourself travelling with an Antígrafo. It looks so life-like. Is she real?"
