The venue that we chose was the first beach we went to as a couple. We opted to have a simple ceremony at sunset. The resort had a garden where it can accommodate at least 50 people. They put Tangled-inspired lanterns on the three arcs that'll serve as the entrance. It complements the long carpet with sun prints on it.

Tears formed in the corner of my eyes as I walked through the arcs with my parents. I couldn't contain my tears when I saw David waiting for me at the end of the carpet. Rissa is my maid of honor while Phil is David's best man. Phil was tapping David's shoulder as he began to cry.

"Now that I see you." That was Yazi's last line as I finally entered the arc. David then held out his microphone just right before his lips.

"All those days chasing down a daydream. All those years living in a blur." David smiled at me. "All that time, never truly seeing. Things the way they were."

When we reached the center, just in time David started the next lines. Hinaplos ni mama ang braso ko nang mas lalo akong umiyak.

"Now she's here, shining in the starlight. Now she's here, suddenly I know. If she's here, it's crystal clear. I'm where I'm meant to go." In no time, we reached the end of the altar. I reached David's position. Yazi and David sang the next lines. "And at last, I see the light. And it's like the fog has lifted. And at last, I see the light. And it's like the sky is new. And it's warm and real and bright."

Inilahad ni papa ang kamay ko kay David na kaagad niya namang tinanggap. Nang maiwan kami ni David sa harapan, mas tumindi ang emosyong nararamdaman ko. "And the world has somehow shifted. All at once, everything is different. Now that I see you. Now that I see you..."

David held his microphone down after the song. He then whispered, "I love you, my sun."

"I love you more, my beloved."

When the simple and short ceremony started, I couldn't help but think of the next things that would happen. Magsisimula na kami ni David ng panibagong yugto sa aming buhay. And as cliché as it may sound, I am more than willing to explore a new world with him.

The next thing I knew, we were already stating our vows to each other.

"My sun, I still remember how you shined so bright the first day we met. Although I didn't see you as someone whom I'd spend the rest of my life with, you have shined the brightest like a sun. Getting hit by your solar radiation and your infrared light which cannot be seen by anyone, was a total twist of fate. A fiery battle between two different forces; I declared then my defeat as I surrendered to you. Sol, although you shined so bright and I thought I couldn't get to hold you because of your consistent heat, here I am." Tears clouded my eyes not only because of David's words but also because of the tears wanting to escape his eyes. "The calefaction of our love may cause me burns and scars, but I am not afraid. Because the heat waves of my heart will always yearn for you."
