Pain Is Lonely

Author's POV:

Gem hadn't come home yet, even though it was 11 pm. Fourth was worried. He phoned him multiple times but he didn't pick up his phone calls. He stayed in the living room until his husband came. But it made him even worry. So he went to their room.

When it was passed midnight, Fourth heard their door cracking sound. He was half asleep.

"Gem?"

Fourth said as he got off the bed. He was kinda sleepy. But seeing his husband was such a relief. "Baby, you Came?" He said and went to his husband. "I worried a lot! Why didn't pick up my calls?" Fourth kept asking him matters until Gem pushed him.

Fourth surprised at that. He looked at his husband with a firm look. His drowsiness faded away by the sudden moment. "Baby, what happened?" Fourth asked. A light grin there had on his lips.

But Gem said nothing. He kept looking at his wife who was still trying to get an answer from him.

"Gem, baby? What happened?"

"Gem!? Why are you like this?"

Fourth kept asking. But Gem was standing there just like a stone. He didn't like it when he kept asking him what was the matter. Because he wanted to believe that there wasn't a matter. So he became angry.

"You can't leave me!!"

Gem screamed as he pushed Fourth until his back hit from the wall. Fourth shocked of his sudden scream. He couldn't understand anything! But knowing to know anything his eyes immediately filled up with tears. He had no idea about what was wrong with him.

But he tried to ask. But his mouth was trembling even to open it. He was so afraid even to open it when seeing his furious husband. But he tried.

"Gem, Baby? What's wrong with you!?" He asked and tried to hold his husband's hand. But he refused. Feeling the rejected Fourth fet pain. It remained their past.

"Gem what happened to you!!?"

Fourth once again asked but this time he had already begun to cry. Seeing his wife's tears trickle down from his cheeks, made him even more heartbroken.

Not knowing what to do Gem screamed hitting the wall. Fourth closed his eyes as his husband began to scream. But at that moment the test result paper dropped down to the floor from Gem's coat's inner pocket.

"You can't leave us!" Gem muttered stepping back til he hit the bed. Then he sat there meanwhile Fourth began to read his test result. At first, he thought that it was just a paper. But then he saw that his name was written on there as the patient and it detailed the hospital which Gem had taken him to check him.

So he knew that it was his test result which they had given to check on last night. He read it. Yes. He read it till the end. He read. He has just finished reading it.

Yeah, He finished reading.

Fourth's whole body went numb after he read the test result. his screamed inside. He was stunned for a moment. He just couldn't believe what he was reading.

It says that he has Leukemia. Fourth's tears trickled down without feeling anything. He could understand why his husband had been acting like that before. But still, he tried to think that this all was a dream. But the reality, the truthiness hit his thoughts. They took him to the real world.

Gem stood up and was coming to him. Fourth didn't want to show his pain to his husband even though he was. So he looked at him and tried to comfort him.
