"Gibbs." Ziva calls out. They all follow a bloody footprint to a freezer and find the body.
"You were right, Ziva. There is someone on board with us." Ducky explains.
"Not him." Ziva responds, "There's something alive. I can feel it."
"A lion-headed dragon goat?" Tony asks.
"Maybe." Ziva responds.
"Hmm." Tony hums out then continues, "Well, someone tossed a month's supply of creamed corn to make room for him."
"Please don't say that again." Tim pleads.
"Tossed?" Tony asks.
"No. Creamed Corn." Tim responds.
"Ah." Tony replies.
"There's significant petechial hemorrhaging in the eyes. These little pinpoints of blood. It's often a sign of asphyxia. Well, we won't know for sure until we conduct some tests." Ducky explains.
"McGee, get me a satellite link." Gibbs orders. Tim nods.
[A Few Minutes Later]
"Abby!" Tim calls out.
"Abby!" Rose tries.
"Abby!" Tim calls out again.
"McGee! You shouldn't sneak up on people like that." Abby scolds.
"What the hell is that noise?" Tim asks.
"BrainMatter." Abby responds, turning the music off.
"I love them." Tim responds and Rose giggles.
"You guys okay?" Abby asks.
"Oh, yeah, yeah, we're peachy. I am dealing with my boat phobia, Tony's dealing with his rat phobia, Rose is dealing with her being scared too easily phobia and Ziva's dealing with her ghost phobia." Tim explains.
"I scare easily, sue me." Rose responds.
"So, what's Gibbs dealing with?" Abby asks.
"Them." Gibbs responds, "Abbs, patch me through to the Director."
"No need, Jethro, I'm here." Jen announces, "What's the status?"
"Well, the crew has disappeared... except for one." Gibbs states.
"Did he tell you where they are?" Jen asks.
"No. He's dead." Gibbs responds.
"Have you ID'd him?" Jen asks.
"Yeah, hang on. Dr. Satoshi Takada." Gibbs reads, "What do you got on him, Ab?"
"Dr. Satoshi Takada. Marine biologist. Lieutenant Commander for the Navy since 1997. PhD in biology from LSU." Abby explains.
"Make sure Skinner knows he's got 20 men stranded in lifeboats." Gibbs explains.
"I'll get right on it. Does Ducky have a cause of death?" Jen asks.
"We're still doing tests. Don't know what killed him yet." Gibbs explains.
"Yes we do. My initial diagnosis of asphyxia was incorrect, I'm afraid. It looks as if Takada died of viral hemorrhagic fever... to which, by now, we have all been exposed." Ducky explains and Rose's eyes widen.
"Can't leave the ship." Gibbs confirms.
"Well, that's not the problem, Jethro. If my diagnosis is correct... we'll all be dead by morning." Ducky explains. Gibbs' eyes widened in shock. Rose's eyes widen as her left hand goes to her mouth in shock while Tim takes her right hand.
