Tony is shown running towards some bad guys with Rose behind him. They fire at the bad guys then both dive into the water after the car. They get Gibbs and the girl out of the car and Rose pulls the girl to the surface while Tony gets Gibbs who was too heavy for her. Gibbs lays there on the ground staring into the sky while Tony and Rose try to get the two of them to breathe.
"Daddy don't leave me please!" Rose says as they keep trying.
The team is shown behind the title of NCIS: Boss's Daughter. Gibbs is shown walking down some stairs with his gun drawn. Tony is shown leaning down in front of a car window then shown sliding down and grabbing his gun. Ziva is shown swimming then she is shown holding her gun as she is looking around. Abby is shown looking at something with Tim then she is shown saluting Gibbs on one side while she dances on the other. Rose and Tim are shown together and she hugs him from behind then the two are shown standing together as they fire their guns on side then the other the two are smiling at each other. Jen is shown getting into MTAC on one side while she sits in her Director's chair on the other side. Ducky is shown grinning as he stands over a body and then he's shown spinning a sword around. Finally, Gibbs is shown hitting the table before the rest of the team is shown in glimpses and then the title is shown again.
[24 Hours Earlier]
"Please, Please, Please Gibbs! I won't ask you for anything else ever again!" Abby pleads.
"No." Gibbs responds.
"Please!" Abby pleads.
"Abby..." Gibbs sighs out.
"I promise." Abby says. Abby tries to take Gibbs' picture.
"Dad." Rose says.
"Yeah?" Gibbs asks.
"There is someone here to see us." Rose says.
"Us?" Gibbs asks.
"Maddie Tyler? The name sounded familiar but I can't place her." Rose replies.
"About?" Gibbs asks.
"Age? Twenty-two, 23?" Tim asks and Rose slaps him on the back of the head, "Sorry, uh, personal she wouldn't say it without both of you there."
"We have her in the conference room." Rose replies.
"Come on." Gibbs says.
"Gibbs!" Abby says. Gibbs tries to pose but Abby gets a picture of her finger. Rose and Gibbs heads to the area that Rose said they left her.
"Oh hi." The girl, Maddie Tyler says.
"Special Agent Gibbs, Roselyn Gibson." Gibbs says.
"You don't have to do the secret name. I know about Rose." Maddie says, "It's been a long time. Maddie Tyler."
"Yeah, we got that." Rose says, "How do you know about me?"
"I was Kelly's best friend." Maddie says and Rose's eyes widen. Rose gets a memory flash of Maddie, Kelly and Rose playing together.
"Oh, you are that Maddie Tyler." Rose breathes out.
"You were always the superhero dad and the smart older sister." Maddie says as Gibbs remembers when Kelly, Rose and Maddie used to play together.
"You lived on base?" Gibbs asks.
"Marine brat. Dad was an officer." Maddie says.
"I remember now." Gibbs comments and the three sit down, "Good Man."
"He retired, moved back to Oakland, and then he died, it's been a few years." Maddie explains.
"So how are you now?" Rose asks, changing the subject.
