Chaos was about to ensue all around us, the knocked out villains were about to rise, so we needed to fight them. The main ringleader thought we were frozen in fear, but we were just watching to see where it was going. My side began hurting, and I realised my wound was worse than I thought.
I could feel the thick warm blood running down my side, seeping into the fabric of my pants. Yet the pain wasn't there. I refused to fall though as I readied myself for another fight, but that was when Izuku shot forward.
He launched himself at Caillou who was about to rush All Might. Even from here, it was noticeable that he'd broken his legs, quite badly.
A breath caught in my throat as the warp guy used his power to propel the other guys hand through a gate. Right at Izuku's face, from what I saw earlier, if he touched Izuku then he'd crumble into dust.
Fear was planted within me as each of my hands grabbed for the person on either side of me. Squeezing tightly, as my heart pounded loudly within my ears. However a gunshot was heard, meaning the teachers were here. We were going to get out of here alive.
Rounds of ammo pinged off bodies all around us, picking those who were waking up off. As our teachers began fighting everyone, making sure the rest of us were safe. But unfortunately in all the fighting, those main villains managed to warp away, but Caillou got shot a few times.
Kiri was about to run over to Izuku when a wall of earth stopped him. Our teacher Cementoss told him to head back towards the others. I winced letting go of Todo's hand, clutching my side, dropping to my knees. If I lost anymore blood I'd definitely need to go to the hospital.
"Shit Drea!" Todo states crouching down beside me before looking at Bakugo. "I hate doing this but hold her down please." Bakugo furrowed his brows before laying me down.
Shoto lifted up my shredded shirt to reveal the three long gashes running vertically down my left side. Bakugo sat behind me lifting my head into his lap, as he lent forward. Pinning my arms to the ground as Shoto hovered his left hand over my skin. Kirishima knelt on the other side, gently holding my legs down so I didn't squirm.
"I'm sorry about this Drea, but it's the only way to help you right now. This is going to hurt," he says and I took a deep breath nodding at him. Knowing that he hated using that side of him, but willing to break that moral to help me.
Searing hot pain rippled through my exposed flesh, not hot enough to cause further damage but enough to cauterize the wounds. Closing them off, and preventing more blood from falling. I screamed trying to wriggle from the guys grasps but they were too strong. Making sure I was still and didn't mess Shoto up.
The heat was suddenly replaced with an icy feeling, cooling the skin enough that it wasn't red anymore. I'd likely have a scar there, but I didn't need to seek medical treatment for it. Plus I'd have dad look at it when I got home, since he fixed the burn on my wrist.
"Shit," I huffed out once it was over with, and they let me go, allowing me to stand up. I took a wobbly step but soon regained my footing.
"Are you alright dudette?" Kiri asks looking everyone over, trying to spot more injuries.
"Yeah thanks for asking. My dad will look at it when I get home, he's a doctor," I state as we began walking to the entrance of the building. The whole class was now standing about outside, as police talked to the teachers.
From the conversation I heard the only student to get severely hurt was Izuku, however All Might, Aizawa and Thirteen were pretty hurt. At least they were set to make a full recovery.
The rest of the class were discussing how their fights all went down with Toru gushing over mine and Shoto's fight with the ones in the landslide zone. She was talking to Ojiro, his quirk is a tail, about it.
"Andrea what happened?" Ochako asks upon seeing my burned stomach while Tsu tried keeping Mineta from looking at my slightly exposed torso by covering his eyes with her hand.
"Got cut by that monster trying to help out. I was bleeding alot so Todoroki used his quirk to stop the bleeding, I'm fine now," I explained waving my hand as if it wasn't a big deal, which it wasn't. There were people hurt worse than I, and needed all of Recovery girls attention.
Once everything was settling down, we got the clear to head back to school. So we shuffled back into the bus, still trying to process everything that went down.
"Toru was telling me how badass you and Todoroki were in the landslide zone. It seems you both work well as a team," Mina, who could create acid, says enthusiastically waving her arms around.
Momo used her creation and created a jacket for me, so I could cover up my burn, which I thanked her for.
I felt a blush form on my cheeks as everyone else pointed out just how skilled the two of us were, and how we seemed to work well together.
"Well our parents work together so as kids we'd often attend events where our parents were invited. Over time we became friends and once our quirks developed we'd sometimes train together, at least when we were older," I explained, leaving alot of key points out that they didn't need to know, unless Shoto decided to tell them.
"And the fact you both got recommended and both got into the school. I heard that Principal Nezu added one extra class mate to three other classes just so things for the sports festival added up," Tokoyami, who had a dark shadow, adds and soon everyone began singing their praises.
Of course also adding praise to Bakugo, Kirishima and Izuku for also helping out All Might in that last fight.
"Well I'm sure everyone will ascend to that level in training with time and dedication," I state as the bus finally pulled into the school.
I needed to go home and relax, for eternity maybe. Yeah that would be nice....
