Chapter 48

The walk back to the dorms seemed like forever, and I hadn't even gone that far. There was no way I could go on my run after what just happened. It felt like the world was crashing down on me, but it also felt like a weight had been taken off my shoulders. It was truely hard to explain.

My feet barely crossed the threshold before I sunk to my knees. Loud hysterical sobs erupted from my mouth as my body shook violently. Activating my earth manipulation, making the whole building shake as the whole class, who were hanging out now, rushed over in a panic.

That pink light from before crept out of my skin once more, a bit of purple entwined with it.

"Baby what's wrong?" Katsuki's voice hit my ears, but sounding distant. From the corner of my eye, I saw him trying to reach for me but Shoto held him back.

"Don't babe, she's unstable right now. Any sudden moves could frighten her more, we'll all get hurt if that happens," Shoto told him, gently clutching his arm.

I felt heartache all over again as my eyes looked over at the class. They all looked worried, but for me not themselves.

"Her eyes are glowing!" Mina exclaims with wide eyes, and then light casted above my head. Suddenly the memory from a few minutes ago played out like a tv screen. Showing the whole class what plagued my mind.

I cried more as I watched it with them, reliving it. They all gasped upon seeing the burn scars heal under his eyes, and it was then I noticed that all my scars healed as well. Including the one he put on my wrist.

As this went on, Shoto slowly and cautiously made his way over, until his face blocked my vision of the memory just as it faded. I snapped back to reality, the earth calming down. Heavy deep breaths came out of my lungs as I made eye contact with those lovely heterochromic eyes.

"He wanted to die, how could he give up. What can we do to make him see that things can get better," I pondered as he dropped down to his knees, cupping my face. Running his fingers gently over the apples of my cheeks.

"It's up to him now darling. You've done enough, hopefully enough to make him realise that we've never lost hope for him," he says wiping a few stray tears as Kat crouched down beside him. His crimson eyes looking at me with worry and concern. It didn't take him long before pulling me into a hug.

What shocked me even more is when the whole class also crouched down around us, wrapping their arms around me and eachother. In a massive group hug, that provided the most comfort and support ever. It lasted a few seconds, before they all pulled away. Not talking much about what just happened, letting it rest which I was thankful for.

The next four days passed by in a flash, as some of us made upgrades to our costumes and trained even harder on our moves. Even All Might stopped by training to provide insight and advice, which was nice of him.

Today was our license exam, and I was nervous. As the whole class could tell due to the snow storm that currently was taking over the bus. Shoto however used his fire to create heat so it evaporated leaving us dry.

We all stepped out of the bus upon arrival, as the other schools began greeting us. We were the only class of first years here, however there was one other who was our age.

"Hey babe wasn't he in our entrance exam?" I asked Shoto as a guy with way too much enthusiasm apologized for joining in on some of our classmates huddle.

"Could've been, I don't really remember it," Shoto stated but I could tell he was lying, however I didn't push him. He'd tell me if he wanted to, I didn't take offence to it.

"That guy scored higher than Andrea in the academic part of their entrance exam. And higher than her, Shoto and Momo for the practical. Jeez he must be powerful," Katsuki says looking over at the dude who now seemed to be bleeding from his head. He was quite the character.

This lady with light green hair made her way over and legit just asked Aizawa to marry her. Like what the fuck just happened. Of course our teacher didn't find it amusing as Deku went into fan boy mode once more. Explaining the woman's quirk, but she just kept openly flirting with our teacher.

That was when her students came over, and they recognized us from the sports festival. This boy with dark spiky hair suddenly grabbed my hands as he greeted us. Also doing the same to Deku, Denki and Kyoka. All of us shook by the gesture, he seemed too nice. I saw right through his kindness, knowing it was an act to get us to let our guards down.

He began talking about having a heart full of fortitude. Bringing up Katsuki and I's kidnapping. Of course someone brought that up, and I felt myself flinch at the mention of it. After everything that's happened the rest of the class was getting over protective of me.

"Woah dude don't just bring up their trauma like that," Kiri scolded Shindo, I think his name was. And Katsuki flew into the dark haired boy, stating he saw through his demeanor.

Just then this girl came up to Todo, gushing as she asked him for an autograph. Claiming she was a fan of his after watching now great he did in the sports festival. Katsuki looked at the girl as if she kicked a puppy.

"Don't flirt with my boyfriend!" He growled trying to fight the girl, but I managed to hold him back.

"Babe call down, it's not like she asked for his number. Just chill," I say making the ground stick to the bottom of his shoes so he didn't move. I did that without anyone seeing, as their only knowledge of my quirk is what they saw in the festival. They didn't know about the other ones, except the mending.

"DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO BABE!" He yelled trying to break free, my hand rested on his chest glowing blue and he began calming down.

"I'm sorry about him, he's an overprotective boyfriend sometimes," I tell the girl and Aizawa tells us all to come on.

And we all began making our way to orientation. Let the exam officially begin.....
