Chapter 61

The amount of anxiety coursing through me at the given moment was astronomical. Everyone was suited up and standing in front of the building, as it turns out they were still keeping Eri in the main headquarters. Luckily the police were able to obtain a warrant to search the place.

The front gate smashed before us all, and Izu sprang into action pulling an officer out of the way. I used currents to move debris out of the way, making sure nobody got hit with it. It seems this dude has the power to bulk up huge by taking the essences of peoples lives. Only he had to touch them to do it.

Ryuku transformed into a dragon, stating her agency would take care of this. They knew we are here so they'd likely send out loads of gang members to slow us down. With that the rest of us began running through the garden.

"Suneater watch out!" I screamed using a vine to yank him back, then stunning the man trying to attack him with an elbow to the back of the head.

"Thanks Flowering Nymph," he calls out and we both continued running after Fat, who busted down the front door. Apologizing for the sudden intrusion, and we fought our way down the corridor.

Nighteye had used his foresight on one of the members and saw a direct path to Eri's room. He pressed on some floor tiles, and the wall opened up. Leading down into an underground tunnel system, I could sense obstacles in the distance. Feeling them through the earth.

"There's loads of traps in place. They knew we were coming, some of the structures have been warped," I informed everyone, as we approached a dead end.

Lemillion used his permeation to phase through the wall, indicating that it continued on just as Nighteye saw. He continued on without looking back, when Red Riot and Deku smashed a hole for the rest of us. We raced after the blonde, once again coming up to another obstacle. The walls all around began warping, making it difficult to navigate and walk properly.

Using my quirk I tried moving things back to its original state. But who ever was doing this definitely was more powerful.

"This has to be Mimics work. Only normally he can't control anything bigger than a fridge. He must've shot up with something," Rock Lock says as I tried again to stable the ground beneath us.

The only person it didn't really effect was Lemillion and he raced forward ahead of us. Not even giving any of us time to follow, then suddenly the ground opened up and we fell down to another level. The impact knocked the wind out of me but luckily nothing felt too injured. I'd be bruised for sure, but that's to be expected.

Standing before us were three more members of the gang, each wearing the strange bird mask that resembles a plague doctor.

"These guys are trying to slow us down. Everyone head off, Flowering Nymph and I will take care of these guys," Suneater told the rest of them, but Kiri was a bit hesitant to leave.

"How can we just leave you both behind!" He asks looking at Fat, hoping the hero would back him up.

"You haven't lost your faith in me yet, have you Red? After all we've been through," I asked the man, and Deku also seemed concerned for our wellbeing.

"Not in the slightest Dudette, just be careful. Bakugo would kill Midoriya and I if he finds out something happened to you. Especially since him and Todoroki have no idea where we all are right now," he replied, giving a thumbs up. Smashing his fists together, and everyone began leaving the room.

As we were talking Suneater had trapped the criminals with his tentacles and Sensei knocked one of them out after erasing all their quirks. To level the playing field I made a clone, giving it weather manipulation since they are best for ranged attacks. Given their short durability.

Suneater began explaining their quirks to me, since he had the lists memorized. One could take weapons away from opponents, which explained why the cops didn't pull their guns on them. The other could create crystals, and morph them into spikes and what not. Lastly the one Eraserhead knocked out, can eat any organic thing and digest it in seconds. Which explains why Eraser knocked him out.

That guy would be harder to defeat, especially with Suneaters animal characteristics, and my vines.

A thunder cloud formed above my head, lightening crashed down on me. Causing electricity to dance across my skin.

"A person with multiple quirks. You must be a by product of All for One," the crystal dude says, as Suneater got flown back, guess their quirks are back.

"Nah I'm the by product of loving parents. Au natural is what I am," I stated, greatly offended that they thought I was created by such an evil man. Thank god All Might took him down, now he can rot in prison.

I shot the electricity at crystal dude, only it seemed to bounce off as he created an armour made out of the fake gems. I would shoot rock projectiles at them them but then the Larceny dude would just take them before hitting a target.

Suneater and I were currently with our backs against the wall. Not much to go off of, my finger came back so the clone was down for the count. Poor Tamaki seemed to having an inner battle with himself when suddenly his tentacles became longer and thicker. His whole body now had multiple animal features, and he called out an ultimate move. His face became covered by a shell like mask.

Entrapping the criminals, however the last one seemed to wake up, and began consuming everything. I however, knew that octopus contains toxins within the tentacles. So it wouldn't be long before he went down. And Suneater's mask was taken off him from Larceny dude. I didn't bother remembering their names.

Before I could even react a swarm of crystals came at us, but Suneater kept them from hitting me. Managing to eat one, and suddenly a clump of them burst from his chest. Knocking them all back, giving us room to move.

Quickly we began talking their masks and things from them, as the toxins began to paralyze them. That way they couldn't use their quirks. I created a mass of vines to tie them up, considering I wasn't much help back there. I'm sure my arms broken though, but it didn't hurt given the adrenaline pumping through me.

"They won't be going anywhere anytime soon. We should catch up to the others, sorry I wasn't much help," I say as we began walking to the door. That was until Suneater collapsed onto the floor, guess he was more injured then he thought.

"Oh not now, we're closer to victory," I knelt down beside him, hands waving above his back. Pouring some of my strength into him, since I couldn't heal everything due to low energy levels.

He groaned, and I could sense that a bone in his face is broken, and there's going to be bruises everywhere. Other than that though, we were pretty well unscathed.

"Let my catch my breath, then we'll go find Mirio. I know he's likely in trouble," he flipped onto his back, looking at the ceiling.

We at the for a couple minutes, while there the cops had made their way down to us. And arrested the goons that Tamaki took down.
