As I sat in the cozy corner of the library, surrounded by shelves of books whispering stories, Ishika’s voice broke through the silence like a sudden gust of wind.
Shriya, it’s time,” she said, her eyes glinting with determination.

I looked up from my notes, slightly startled. “Time for what?”
She leaned in, her expression earnest. “Time to tell Rohan how you feel. You can’t keep this to yourself forever.”

I sighed, my mind racing with a million doubts and fears. “I don’t know, Ishika. I think I should focus on exams right now. Besides, I want him to come to me. I want to know him better before I say anything."

Ishika nodded understandingly, her gaze unwavering. “I get it, Shriya. But sometimes, you have to take a leap of faith. Life’s too short to wait for things to happen. You deserve to be happy.”

Her words lingered in the air, weighing heavy on my heart. Maybe she was right. Maybe it was time to muster the courage and confess. But for now, I buried myself in my books, letting the comforting embrace of knowledge shield me from the uncertainties of the heart.
