Lewis' POV

"This thing is weird." Darrick says, and he shows me the tampon that he's holding.

Well, it's not a tampon, but it's something similar, and it was designed for the Omegas.

"It will make sure that the silk won't get out of you." I say, and he nods slightly, before he decides to put it in his hole.

"I did it." Darrick says, but he doesn't look happy about it.

"That's great. Now go wash yourself, and then we can cuddle." I say, and he rolls his eyes, but he walks into the bathroom anyway.

I was surprised when Devonte actually agreed to let me stay in his house.

And I wasn't sure if I should agree to stay, but Darrick somehow managed to convince me to do it.

When Darrick comes back, I smile at him, and I gesture for him to come here.

Thankfully the doctor managed to get rid of the scent of Darrick's heat, which took away any effect that anyone could feel.

But it doesn't mean that Darrick doesn't feel them.

For now, he's still able to control himself, but I'm not sure if it will be like that in a few days.

We cuddle silently for a few minutes, until Darrick falls asleep.

I decide to do the same, but my phone rings before I can do that.

I have to force myself to not groan, because I don't want to wake my mate.

But I roll my eyes in annoyance, before I take my phone out of my pocket, to see who interrupted me.

I quickly make it stop ringing, and I make sure to silent my phone, before I check who called me.

It turns out that it was Dior, so I decide to text him to see what he wants from me.

"Hey. I can't pick up right now." I say, and I wait only a few seconds, before I can see his reply.

"Where are you?" He asks me.

"At the Alpha's house." I say, because I guess that there no point in lying to him.

"Why?" He asks me.

"I will tell you later." I say, and I wait on his replay, but it never comes.

I'm not sure if he's angry at me, or if he thought that he doesn't need to replay, but I wish that he at least said that it's okay or something.

I sigh tiredly, before I put my phone on the shelf, and I close my eyes.

I'm a bit surprised that this house is louder than the pack house, because there are thousands people in the pack house, and only less than twenty here.

I guess that some of the kids are just a bit too energetic, but I guess that I will have to deal with them for the next few days.

I can feel that Darrick is moving, and a while later, he puts his hands over his ears, so I guess that he's awake.

But he's way too relaxed for that, so it's most likely how he deals with all for this noise, even when he's sleeping.

I chuckle slightly, and I decide to do the same, hoping that it will help me fall asleep.
