Forgetting The Painful Effort

Chapter 48

Darrick's POV

I'm not sure how he got to know about the fact that I was pregnant, but I know that I should have told him before he found out.

"The Alpha of the rogue pack stabbed me, when Devonte and the warriors attacked my former pack.

Logan cut the kid out of me, and then a few people took us the pack that was near the clearing that we were at.

They helped me, but my kid died on the way to that pack, because the knife hit him in his neck, and he bleed out." I explain.

"I'm sorry that it happened." He tells me with a sad smile, but I just shake my head.

"It's alright, I'm not even sure if I would want to raise him, because he was a son of a very mean rogue.

That rogue was the only one who was beating me, and the Alpha didn't care about it, because that rogue was his best friend.

So, if my kid survived, then I'm sure that he would have looked like his other father.

And I'm not sure if I would be able to even look at him without being disgusted." I say.

To be honest, I didn't really care that I was having a kid with Henrique's friend, because I knew that I won't have to see the kid a lot.

Because Henrique told me that his friend was trying to get me pregnant, and that if I will actually give him a kid, then they will be taken away from me anyway.

"I'm sure that we would have found someone who would want to take care of him instead of you." Lewis says.

I nod slightly, although I'm not sure if that would be a good idea.

I know that Ashton and Rodney still don't find anyone who wants to take them, so I doubt that I would be able to find someone who would want to raise my kid.

"Let's check what Thiago and Gregor are doing, and then we will have to tell everyone that I'm pregnant.

Because I really doubt that my parents will forgive us if we won't tell them today." I say, and Lewis quickly agrees, so I walk inside of Are's room.

Thiago and Gregor are sitting on the chairs that are near the bed, and it seem that they were talking to Are, who's still not up.

They look at us when they hear that were here, and I smile at them.

"I'm pregnant." I say, and they smile.

"Do you have any pictures?" Gregor asks me, so I nod, before I give one to him, and the other one to Thiago.

"I'm sure that he will be handsome, he already is." Thiago tells me, and I frown.

"You think that this dot is handsome?" I ask him.

"Yes. This is one of the most handsome dots that I ever saw." Thiago says.

"You saw a more handsome dot before?" Gregor asks him.

"My mom showed me my ultrasound pictures." Thiago explains, and this makes all of us laugh loudly.
