Lewis' POV

Darrick and I decided to go on a run, because neither of us can stand to be at the Alpha's house right now.

Darrick told me about what happened, and I'm really not surprised that Devonte and Wren are angry at Tareek.

"Where are we going?" Darrick asks me though the mind link.

"I'm not sure yet." I say, and he doesn't seem to mind it very much, so we just continue to run until we reach a small clearing.

"Is this where everyone comes for the pack training?" Darrick asks me curiously, but I shake my head.

"Not that clearing is a lot bigger than this one, but I think that Logan and Quincy are training here." I say.

He looks around the empty clearing, and then he lies down on the ground.

I watch him as he moves around, and it doesn't take long for him to be covered in mud.

I have no idea if I find it more disgustingly or funny, but I'm pretty sure that Devonte won't allow Darrick to go anywhere near his house like this.

So, I sigh tiredly, and I lead Darrick toward the pack house.

I make him shower quickly which he doesn't like, but he does it anyway.

Then we go to the teenagers day room, to see if anyone that I know is there.

Darrick doesn't have many friends here, but I guess that I can help him make a few.

I have to stop walking, because Darrick walks inside of the kids day room.

I follow him there, and I quickly notice that only a few kids are here, along with a babysitter.

A bit more than five kids are playing with toys on the floor, while two of them are sitting on the couch.

"I didn't see you in a long while." Darrick says with a smile when two of the kids notice him.

The babysitter looks like she doesn't want us to be here, but she most likely knows that Darrick is the Alpha's family, so she doesn't say anything.

"Hi." One off the kids say happily, and he stands up to hug Darrick.

"How do you know them?" I ask him.

"I met then at the rogue pack, they were kids of the warriors, and I had to watch them sometimes." Darrick responds.

I look at the other kid who looks very shy, but also happy to see Darrick.

I waive at him slightly, and he hesitantly waves back.

"This is Ashton, and that is Rodney." Darrick tell me.

"I'm Lewis." I say, and Ashton smiles at me.

"Guess what." Ashton says, and he doesn't even wait for Darrick to say anything, before he continues.

"Enrique told me that he found someone that Rodney and I can stay with." He says, and Darrick frowns.

"And where are you staying now?" I ask him curiously.

"With her." He says, and he points at the woman who smiles slightly.

By the tone of Ashton voice, I can tell that he's not very happy with it, but I'm not sure why, and I decide to not ask him about it.

I'm pretty sure that if he will say something mean about his babysitter, then she will be annoyed at him, and I don't want him to get in trouble.
