Lewis' POV

"He was glaring at you a few seconds ago." I tell him, and he frowns even more.

"I don't do anything on him." Darrick says, and I can see that he really has no idea why his brother could be angry at him.

"I think that Quincy is a bit annoyed that Darrick gets more attention than him." Miguel says, and Knight nods in agreement.

"Before Darrick came here, Logan and Chance were the ones that got the most attention from Papa, because most likely one of them will be the next heir.

But now Papa wants to spend a lot of time with Darrick, to get to know him, and it seems that Chance is a bit jealous because of that." Knight explains.

"I will talk with him later." Darrick says, but I quickly shake my head.

"Don't do it, if no one will be around. I can talk with him for you if you want, or at least let me be near you when you will talk with him." I say.

"He won't hurt me." Darrick says, and it seems that Ezra agrees, but the rest of the guys aren't very convinced.

"Don't talk with him alone." I say to Darrick, and he rolls his eyes.

"Fine." He says, and I decide to let the topic go for now.

We play for a while longer, until Tareek tells us that he will start to make a dinner.

Ezra and Knight decide to help him, while Zaine says that he has to learn something for school, and Miguel stays outside with Roar.

I'm not sure what the rest of the kids are, but I guess that they are at the pack house with Wren, or something.

I sit on the couch in the living room, and Darrick sits next to me.

It doesn't take long before Chance comes here with two of his younger siblings.

The kids decide to see what Miguel is doing, which leaves Chance alone with us.

"Why were you glaring at me?" Darrick asks him, and I have to resist the urge to swear at him for being stupid.

I guess that the rogues didn't teach him how to start conversations like this, so I guess that I will have to talk with him about it later.

"I wasn't glaring at you." Quincy says.

"Lewis said that you did." Darrick says.

"Well, Lewis must have imagined it." Quincy responds.

"Everyone knows that you were glaring at him, Chance." I say, and he glares at me.

"Don't call me that." He says.

"I thought that you like this name more than Quincy." I say with an arched eyebrow.

Most of the people in this pack call him Chance, even though Devonte and Wren aren't very happy about that.

"It's just for my friends." He explains.

"I'm pretty sure that half of the pack members call you Chance, and you never correct anyone." I say, and I make sure to not show him that I'm annoyed at him.

"Well, I'm correcting you." He says, and I roll my eyes.

"Let's go upstairs." I say to Darrick, and he shrugs.

We walk past Quincy who's standing near the doorway, and before I can stop him, he hits Darrick on his back hardly.

Darrick hisses in pain, while I grip Quincy by his shirt, and I make him hit the wall with his back.
