Lewis' POV

We already told my parents that Darrick is pregnant, and they got very angry at me, because apparently I forgot to tell them that I found a mate.

I feel a bit bad about it, but it's not really my fault, because they're rarely here.

They usually stay in my mother's former pack, since her brothers is sick, because his mate died not long ago, and someone has to take care of their kids.

Now they just come here to visit for a week every two month, but I don't really care, because this means that they don't watch my every move as they did before.

"I'm not sure if I want to tell my parents about this before I will tell my siblings, or if I should tell all of them at once." Darrick tells me.

"It doesn't matter." I say, and he just rolls his eyes.

"At least my parents know that I have a mate." He tells me with an amused expression.

"Don't even start." I warn him, but it only makes him laugh.

"I can't believe that you didn't tell them." Darrick says.

"I didn't tell them, because I didn't see them for almost a year now." I say.

"Why not?" Darrick asks me.

"They don't really live here anymore, because they have to babysit my cousins, but I guess that they will come back soon.

Because my uncle is sick, and he's getting worse with each month, so I guess that my cousins will have to move here with my parents after he will die." I explain.

"What if your parents will stay with them?" Darrick asks me, and I shrug.

"I replay doubt that it will happen, because my mother told me that her former pack wasn't very good, especially for Omegas.

And since one of my cousins is an Omega, then I doubt that she will allow him to stay there." I explain.

"Why didn't your uncle move here?" Darrick asks me.

"It's not that easy. I really doubt that Devonte would have allowed him to move into this pack, at least before I met you.

Now, I'm a part of your family, so I'm sure that Devonte would have made an exception for my uncle's family.

But before I met you, we weren't important in this pack, and Devonte didn't like me very much, because I was making trouble.

So, I really doubt that he would have allowed someone from my family to move here without a very good reason." I explain.

He doesn't say anything to that, so we walk the rest of the way in silence.

When we reach the front door of Darrick's parents' house, I try to open the door, but Darrick stops me.

"What's this?" He asks me, and I look at him to see that he's pointing at my arm.

I look at it, and I frown when I see that I have a big bruise on my arm.

"I'm not sure, I guess that I hit something." I say, and he rolls his eyes.

"One day you will bleed out, because you won't notice that you had a serious injury." He tells me.

I chuckle, because if someone could do something like that, then that most likely would be me.
