Lewis' POV

Darrick made me stay with his friends for a few more minutes, because apparently, they were in the middle of the game, and he didn't want to lose.

He lost anyway, and he wasn't very happy about it, so he wanted to play again, but I managed to make him come with me.

"Where are we going?" He asks me when he notices that we're not going towards his parents' house.

"On a date." I say, and he frowns, but he doesn't complain about it, so I guess that the doesn't mind that we will be having a date.

I asked Tareek to make Darrick's favourite cake, and I have it with me right now, so I hope that my mate will like it.

It doesn't take us long to reach the very small clearing, and I smile when I notice that the blanket that I left here wasn't stolen or something.

We sit on it, and I open he white bag that I was holding, then take two plates out of it, before I put the cake on them.

"Thanks." Darrick says happily when I give him his plate.

We eat silently for a while, before he decides to speak again.

"What people usually do on dates?" He asks me.

"Whatever they want to do." I say. "I guess that there aren't many things that they can do here, but if they can go to the city, then they have a lot of things to do.

It depends on what they like, and what they want to do together." I say, and he nods.

"Will we ever be able to go to the city?" He asks me.

I know that Devonte talked with him about this, but I guess that I should answer the question for him anyway.

"I have no idea. I'm still not allowed to go to the city, so I never went there, same as most of the people from here." I say.

Devonte said that he doesn't want us to interact with the humans too much, and he doesn't see any reason to let his pack members go to the city.

So, I guess that most of us will never see it as long as Logan won't allow everyone to visit the city.

I hope that he will at least let us go for a while.

I even will be happy if he will make everyone go in a group with an instructor, or something.

Because I heard a lot about the human cities, but I didn't really have a chance to see it.

Well, I saw the pictures, but I'm sure that everything is even better than it looks on them." I say.

"I can try to convince him to let us go." Darrick tells me. "I'm pretty sure that my puppy eyes will be able to do this." He says, and I chuckle.

"You're most likely right." I say, and I really believe that Darrick would be able to convince Devonte to let him do anything.

But I'm a bit worried that his siblings will be jealous, and that it will make them angry at us, or something.
