Lewis' POV

I walk around the woods, and I really hope that I will be the one who will find this Omega, because I really need to get on the Alpha's good side.

I got in a lot of trouble recently, and the Alpha doesn't seem very willing to forgive me anytime soon.

So, if I won't find this Omega who for some reason is very important to the Alpha, then I will still have to go through the rest of my punishment.

I run as quickly as I can, and I just hope that I won't get lost out here, because I really don't want to become a rogue or something.

About an hour later, I find something red on the ground, and I quickly realise that it's blood, the Omega's blood.

I'm not sure if this Omega is the one that I'm looking for, but I definitely can't leave an Omega here, so I will have to find him anyway.

It seems that he was smart enough to hide his scent, but I can smell his blood a bit, even though it's not a very strong scent.

I can see that it's already starting to get dark, which means that I should go back to the pack house, but I decide to keep running as quickly as I can.

It takes me a bit less than an hour to reach a cave, and I'm pretty sure that the Omega is inside, so I shift to my human.

"Can I talk with you?" I ask loudly, because I definitely don't want to walk inside of his cave.

That will make him feel like he has to talk with me, and I'm sure that he wouldn't like it.

A teenage boy comes out of the cave, and he has a frown on his face.

"Are you from Devonte's pack?" He asks me, and I nod with a kind smile.

"The Alpha wanted me to find you." I say, and he rolls his eyes.

"You can come inside for the night, if you won't annoy me, but I expect you to leave in the morning." He tells me.

I look at the sky, which is getting dark very quickly, and I decide that it won't be smart to run back to the pack lands right now.

So, I walk inside of the cave, hoping that I won't die at night, because of how cold it is.

"Can I make a fire to heat the air near us?" I ask him, and he shrugs, although by his expression I can see that he doesn't really know what I mean.

I go outside, and I take as many sticks as I can, before I bring them back into the cave.

I place half of them in the middle of the cave, then I take two sticks, and I rub them together quickly, before I make a fire.

I drop the sticks on the ones that are laying in front of me, and I watch as the fire becomes bigger.

The Omega looks surprised, and a bit scared, but it seems that he likes that now it's a bit warmer here.
