Darrick's POV

It's not easy to tell Devonte about it, because for some reason someone is near him all the time.

And it seems that Lewis doesn't want me to tell Devonte anything, so he tries to watch me as much as he can, to make sure that I won't do it.

But today, he had to work, even though it's weekend, which means that he shouldn't work today.

And Devonte is in the house, so I decided that it will be a very good moment to tell him everything.

The only problem is that I every time that I try to catch him alone, he's either playing with one of the kids, or he's talking to one of his mates.

I honestly start to think that Wren and Tareek know that Lewis and heard their conversation.

And I guess that they're trying to make sure that I won't get an opportunity to talk with Devonte alone.

I would have told Devonte when they're near him, but I really don't want them to hate me, or something.

Although I guess that they will know that I told him, even if I will do it when they won't be around.

I sigh tiredly, and I decide to go downstairs to see if Devonte is alone.

I did this more then five times today, and I really don't think that I have enough patience to do it again.

I'm not even sure when Wren and Tareek are going to go to the doctor to make him get rid of Tareek's womb, so I'm not sure how much time I have to tell Devonte.

I'm not even sure why I want to tell him but I guess that I don't want him to find out after it will be done.

I think that Tareek should do what he wants, but he also should get the permission of his mates.

After all, if something will go wrong with the surgery, and he will die, then this will mean that both of his mates will die too.

I sigh tiredly when I see that Devonte is talking to Wren again, and that makes the both of them look at me.

"Is something wrong?" Devonte asks me.

I walk inside of the living room, and I look around to see if anyone else is here.

The house is very quiet, and I guess that we're alone, so I decide that I will talk with Devonte now, even if Wren is here.

"Wren and Tareek are hiding something from you." I say and Wren's worried expression turns to a confused one.

Devonte looks at Wren, while Wren looks at me with an arched eyebrows, as is he has no idea what I'm talking about.

I'm not sure if he's trying to convince Devonte that he isn't hiding anything, or if he really has no idea why I'm talking about.

But I know that Lewis wouldn't have told me something like this if he didn't really hear them talking about it, so I know that he's not innocent.

"What are you hiding?" Devonte asks him.

"I have no idea what he's talking about." Wren says, and Devonte rolls his eyes.
