Lewis' POV
It turned out that Are was shirt pretty badly, and he lost a lot of blood.
He's still sleeping, even though he got hurt a few days ago, so I guess that he's in a coma or something.
I just hope that he will heal soon, because I don't want Darrick to look sad for much longer.
I know that he's blaming himself for what happened, but I don't think that there's much that he could have done in a situation like that.
And I'm sure that it would have ended up even worse, if he wasn't brave enough to try to take the hunter's gun.
If the hunter was alive, and had that gun with him when the warriors found him, then I'm pretty sure that a lot of people would be dead by now.
I tried to tell Darrick that it's not his fault, but he doesn't even try to listen to me when I'm talking about it, so I guess that it won't work.
But I hope that Are will be able to tell him this soon, and maybe then Darrick will believe it.
"Aren't you going to hang out with your friends?" I ask Darrick when I see that he's still lying on the bed.
Even though he was supposed to be getting ready to leave the house, to hand out with his friends.
"I said that I will meet then soon, but I'm tired." He says.
"Maybe you will feel less tired if you will spend some time with them." I say, and he chuckles.
"I think that you have a serious problem with thinking logically." Darrick tells me, and I shrug.
"Maybe." I say.
He looks at me for a while, before he looks at the clock, and then he groans loudly.
I watch him as he forces himself to get out of the bed, and get dressed.
It takes him about half an hour to get ready, and I'm pretty sure that he was supposed to meet his friends about twenty minutes ago, but neither of us say anything about it.
I would have mentioned it, but I don't want him to decide that he should skip if he's already this late.
He leaves the house not much later, and I decide to go down the stairs, because I have to talk with Landen about something.
"Why are you bullying other kids?" I ask Landen, when I notice that neither of his parents is near him right now.
I would have scolded him even if they were here be, but I feel less nervous now.
"I don't." Landen tells me when he sees that I was talking to him.
I'm pretty sure that he thought that I was taking to Zaine and Raine, so I guess that they are bullying someone too.
"A few of the kids told me that you weren't nice to them." I tell him, hoping that he will own up to it.
"I'm only mean to the people who are mean to me, so I'm sure that whoever told you that isn't very nice to me either." He says.
I guess that it would make sense, because he's really one of the nicest people from this family.
So, I decide to leave him for now, and I make sure to remember to talk with Ashton and Rodney about it.
I know them well, and I doubt that they hurt Landen on purpose, but maybe they did that accidently, and they didn't apologise for that.
