Darrick's POV

"Concentrate." The instructor says again, and I wonder how much patience for me he has left.

I guess that when he agreed to train me, then he didn't know that I was an Omega.

He was smiling when he was talking with Devonte about my training, but I think that he was expecting to train Knight and not me.

Because as soon as Papa said that he will be training me, then his smile fell.

And I'm sure that he was annoyed by it, even though he made sure to not look like he's annoyed.

I guess that I will have to talk with Papa  and ask him to find someone else.

That's because I really don't want to deal with this man's bad mood.

I wanted to train, not to be bullied by someone who doesn't like that I'm weak.

"I'm going back." I say, before I walk away from him.

He grabs my arm, and forces me to turn around to face him, so I make sure to send him a glare.

"The Alpha won't be happy if he will get to know that you skipped the training." He tells me angrily.

"I'm sure that he will be fine with it." I say, and he chuckles.

"I think that you don't know what usually happens to your older brothers when they skip, or even when they're just a bit late." He says.

"I have just one older brother, and I know that Devonte isn't happy when they skip, but no one forced me to train.

I had to convince Devonte to let me do it, and I'm sure that he won't be mad if I will skip or refuse to come here again." I say, and he rolls his eyes, before he lets me go.

"Definitely." He says, and he smiles at me.

This isn't a kind smile, it's is the expression that someone would make if they were talking with a small kid.

Who thinks that they know everything, but they don't really know anything.

I shake my head with an amused smile, but I decide to not say anything, before walk away.

He thinks that I have no idea how Devonte will react, but I know that he's the one who has no idea what he's talking about.

Logan and Quincy would definitely get a punishment for skipping the training.

But there's no way that Devonte, Tareek or Wren will ever punish me for something like this.

When I walk inside of the house, I can hear that the four youngest kids are in the living room with the babysitter.

So, I quickly walk towards the stairs, because I really don't want to be in the same room as her.

I don't think that she likes me very much, and she sometimes glares at me, even when my parents are around.

I'm pretty sure that she will be even worse now, because they're not here to hear what she's saying.

Thankfully, Henry comes here a lot to teach Landen, so I usually don't have to be alone with her and the kids, when everyone has to go somewhere.
