Darrick's POV

I groan for the hundredth time when I look at the thing that's called a textbook.

Learning the easy things with Tareek was great, but yesterday Devonte decided that he will hire someone who will start to teach me the harder things.

At first, I was happy that I will be to know everything that people from this pack know, but now I'm definitely not happy.

There are way too many things, and I'm still looking at one of the first pages of the huge textbook.

"Do you want me to go for now? We can continue tomorrow." The nice woman says.

To be honest, I can't remember her name, because I heard it only once when she introduced herself to me this morning.

And I forgot it after the first few minutes of learning, because there were more important things for me to remember.

"That would be great. I really doubt that I will remember any more things now. " I say, and she nods.

We talk for a bit longer while she gets ready to go, and then I look at her as she walks out of the house.

When she's gone, I let my head hit the table a few times, until I hear that someone is chuckling.

I turn around to see who's here, and I quickly realise that it's Wren.

"I didn't know that you stayed in the house." I tell him.

"I wanted to make sure that you will be alright, so I decided to work in the house today." He says, and I groan, before I let my head rest on the table.

"Was it that bad?" He asks me, and I can hear that he's coming closer.

"There's way too many things in this textbook, and I really doubt that I remember even half of the things that I was supposed to learn today." I say tiredly.

"I'm sure that soon it will get easier to remember everything." He says.

I look at him, and he smiles slightly  before he hits my shoulder gently a few times, and then he goes away.

"Get some rest." He tells me, and I sigh, before I decide to go to my room.

I look at the clock to check the time, and I groan again when I see that Lewis won't be here anytime soon.

I have no idea how it can still be this early, because I thought that I was learning for hours now.

Apparently, it was just a bit over two hours, and I'm definitely not happy with it.

I try to take a nap, but when I start to fall asleep, I decide that it's not a good idea, because I have trouble with sleeping anyway, and this definitely won't help me.

So, I take my phone out of my pocket, and I try to use it again.

I already know how to do a few things, but I'm still a bit scared that I will do something wrong, and that it will break or something.

I decide to watch football, even though I'm not a big fan of it, because for some reason Wren already showed me how to find me.

I guess that he was hoping that I will start to like it, because not many of his kids do.
