Darrick's POV
"What do you want?" Devonte asks me right after I walk into the living room.
I have no idea how he knows that I want something, but I don't really care enough.
"Lewis told me that he has to train a lot with the pack." I say, and Devonte nods.
"Almost everyone in this pack has to train." He tells me.
"Why?" I ask curiously.
"Because a lot of people might attack us, and the warriors might not be enough to get rid of them.
But they will have a lot of help, because almost every adult in this pack knows how to fight." Devonte explains.
"Are Logan and Quincy training too?" I ask him, and he nods.
"Yes, but not with the pack. They have their own instructors, and the rest of my kids will most likely have one too when they will be old enough." He says.
"Why are you asking me about this?" He asks curiously.
"I want to train too." I say, and he nods slightly, although I can see that he's not very happy that I want to do that.
"Why?" He asks.
"Because everyone here is very strong, and I want to be strong too." I say, and he sighs tiredly.
"Well, I can find an instructor for you, but even if you will train a lot, then I really doubt that you will be able to get much stronger than you're now." He tells me with an apologetic smile.
"Why?" I ask, although it's more like a whine.
"Because you're an Omega, and I don't know any Omega who has muscles.
But you have some Alpha genes too, so maybe you will be able to get a bit stronger." He tells me.
"I want to try." I say, although I'm not as happy about it as I was before I came here to talk with him.
"Great." He says.
I give him a slight hug, before I walk back to my room, where Lewis is waiting on me.
I make sure to hit his arm, and he glares at me playfully.
"What did I do?" He asks me.
"You didn't tell me that I won't be able on get any muscles." I say, and he smiles at me with a guilty expression.
"Sorry." He says.
"I don't care." I say.
"Come on." He whines, and then he kisses my head a few times.
I push him away from me, which make him groan loudly.
"Will you forgive me if I will get a few chocolates for you." Lewis asked me, and I don't even consider what I want to say, because I'm sure that the both of us know this already.
"Yes." I say with a bored voice, and he chuckles, before he goes out of my room.
I have no idea where he keeps chololate, but I will have to find out, because he very rarely gives it to me.
And I'm pretty sure that they don't sell it in the pack house, so I have no idea where to get it.
