My room filled with the noise of Doo Wop (That Thing) - Ms. Lauryn Hill playing.
I had just finished shipping off some more packages when I heard my doorbell rang.
When I opened it revealed Mani and I smiled.
He immediately started dancing hearing the song blast and I laughed before joining in.
It's been three weeks since you were looking for your friend The one you let hit it and never called you again 'Member when he told you he was 'bout the Benjamins? You act like you ain't hear him, then give him a little trim To begin, how you think you're really gon' pretend Like you wasn't down and you called him again? Plus, when you give it up so easy you ain't even foolin' him If you did it then, then you'd probably f- again
I rapped while we bopped to it. He grabbed me by my waist swaying us close as we vibed to the song.
"Mani my fave part coming onn." I turned the song up.
Girls you know you'd better watch out Some guys, some guys are only about That thing, that thing, that thing That thing, that thing, that thing Guys you know you'd better watch out 'Cause girls, some girls are only about That thing, that thing, that thing That thing, that thing, that thing
We both sang the chorus and I was surprised he ain't sound off key.
Once the song ended, I turned the volume down.
"Who knew yo ass could sing like that?" I exclaimed smiling at him.
"It wasn't een allat ma. I was just following you." he told before plopping onto the couch.
"Mhmm." I playfully rolled my eyes.
"You hungry?" I asked him and he smiled out of the corner of his mouth.
He got up and walked up to me. "Yeah, but not for food mama." he smirked before starting to kiss my neck.
He instantly hit my spot and I nearly folded before pulling away.
"Stop Mani, I already told you I need some time." I shrugged walking to the other kitchen.
He followed me in with a real disappointed look. "And I gave you time, it's been 6 months since we started getting back cool and I ain't een know what to call it." he exclaimed getting frustrated.
"We in a situationship. There's ya title." I shrugged.
"Niggas who in a situationship, don't tell they shawty they love them ma." he stretched and I sighed.
