I'm so, so sorry I didn't post anything for so long. Something came up, and then I was really busy and simply didn't have time to write. I hope I can keep the updates steady in the future.

Cody has known Rex since Rex was born. He knew his little brother well, maybe even better than himself. So yeah, he noticed that something was different when Rex said he was 'going for a few drinks with some friends' and actually cared to take a shower.

"So... where are you going?" he asked because he was an overprotective big brother, and he wanted to know. And maybe he wanted to tease his Rex a bit.

"I don't know, I'm not picking out the place."

"And who are you going with?"

"Just some friends," Rex shrugged and when he realized not mentioning which friends might be suspicious, he continued. "It's just Gregor and some guy from his work."

Cody sighed and looked Rex dead in the eye. "Is she pretty?"

He wanted to take a picture of the expression Rex made. Too bad Rex masked it so quickly. "I don't know what you are talking about."

"Rex. It's not nice of you to lie to your ori'vod," Cody chided.

"She is gorgeous," Rex admitted, and shit, so the dreamy voice wasn't just a Bly thing.

"And who is the lucky one?"

Rex blushed. He blushed so hard that his dark complexion did nothing to hide it. "Ahsoka."

"Is it a date?"

"Not exactly. Just friends."

"For now," Cody smiled encouragingly at his brother. "Come on, let's get you ready."

"Don't you have better things to do than dress me up?"

Cody wiped an imaginary tear from his eye. "My little brother is going on a date. He is all grown up now. How could I have anything better to do?" Cody mimicked the teary voice from Bly's soap operas, which drew a snort out of Rex.

Rex had to smile at Cody's antics. No matter how old he got, Cody wasn't going to stop his ori'voding. He remembered when he was thirteen and first went on a date with a girl. Cody helped him pick his outfit and boosted his confidence enough for Rex to show up. He also gave Rex the sex talk, and Cody was very, very serious about that. Rex was, same as his siblings, never going to forget that.

"What are you wearing?" Cody asked.

"I don't know. I'm afraid I'm going to be overdressed, but if I dress too casually, I'm going to be under dressed," Rex worried.

"Let's see," Cody started going through Rex's wardrobe, picking out a few pieces of clothing. He then held each piece in front of Rex for a bit. In the end, he picked out a navy blue polo-shirt. "I think this could work."

"Since when are you a professional stylist?"

"I had to win a custody battle at fifteen, I know how to dress for the occasion," Cody shrugged. "Try it on."

Rex had to admit, Cody did know how to dress for the occasion. The shirt wasn't too formal but still looked fancy enough for a dinner or a walk in the park. And he was told that he looked good in blue. "Not bad," Rex complimented as he grabbed his jeans.
