The one chapter where Plo Koon writes

What do you say we take a break from the main plot? You know, just so you have time to worry about what Palpie is doing.

For context: In this chapter, master Plo writes letters to his future foster children. He isn't allowed to meet them or know any details about them yet because of safety reason (ok, so I wanted to write the letters and made up this stupid rule that they don't potential foster children the child's name, where they are from or any other details so no one tries to get back a child that has been taken from them). I hope you enjoy reading it, I personally think that it's pretty cute, even if my writing of letters is... not good.

  Hello, dear boys.

I must admit, I don't know how to start this letter. I don't really know anything about you, the Adoption Agency won't tell me anything besides your gender and ages, for safety reasons. I'm glad that your safety is taken seriously but at the same time, it's difficult to write you a letter when I have no idea what you would be interested in, even harder when I know that you are not allowed to answer any of my messages. I will try my best to include everything that you might want to know in my letters and know that you are welcome to ask any additional questions you have once we can talk together.

I suppose I should let you know that my name is Plo Koon and that I'm a Kel Dor. I was told that you are human but I must say that it doesn't matter to me. I'm much more interested in your personalities, your culture, your interests...

Once we are finally allowed to meet, I will take you out for a lunch and I will ask you countless questions about all the little things that a parent should know about their child. Or am I too forward calling you that? I hope not.

I guess it's in place to tell you that I've been trying to adopt for a very long time and that I'm very excited to finally be allowed to get children in foster care. I see a lot of children in my line of work, I'm a teacher, but this is something else entirely. I just hope I will be able to do right by you.

I admit that I don't really know what else to say. Once I figure something out, I will send you another letter.

I hope you are doing great.

Plo Koon

  Hello.

It's me again. I'm really excited about messaging you but I don't really know what to write into the messages. It's weird, I know. I just want to be sure you know what you are going into. I don't know about you but for me, everything is easier when I know what to expect.

I decided to introduce you my apartment so you know where you are going to be living. Before I start, just know that a lot of things is adjustable. Home is somewhere you are supposed to feel good so if there ever is anything that's bothering you, just know that we can talk about it and I will do my best to solve it somehow.

I will start with saying that my apartment is pretty big, there will be plenty of space for both of you. I made sure to include pictures of every room in this message so you can see for yourself.

First, we have the living room. It's where we can all sit and talk, eat shared meals, watch TV or whatever you would like, really. I made sure that the living room is cozy, with a lot of pillows, fluffy blankets, plants and more. I hope you will feel comfortable here. But then again, if you don't like it, we can always make some changes.
