Steven and connie both span around together, laughing and smiling as they got faster, soon the entire room was engulfed by a light so bright peedee had to cover his eyes, "what is this!?", he called out to them but got no answer. When the light faded only one person was standing there, they turned to face peedee, they looked almost like blue diamond if she was human, their clothes where a combination of Steven and Connie's, with Steven's gem still being visible on the chest.
"What the!?", peedee was knocked to the ground by some sort of unknown force coming from the fusion. He got back up, struggling to keep his balance, "i-I know you! You're Steven's weird mom! That blue dragon! What are you doing here!?", the fusion laughed at this, then they finally spoke, "I am not blue diamond, we are stevenonnie, Steven and connie fused into one new being. "
Peedee shook his head, he refused to believe this, "That's not even possible! How are you two even doing that!", he looked around the room as he desperately tried to think of some sort of explanation, "Steven! connie! come out now! This trick with your weird mom isn't funny!", he called, stevonnie started to become angry. Well, the steven side did,so the fusion decided to unfuse in front of him to prove him wrong.
Another light came from them and took up the whole room, making peedee panic and back into the corner. In a flash, steven and connie had returned and were standing next to eachother, holding hands, connie was confident, Steven was trying to hold back his anger. "Don't say that about my mum!", Steven yelled to peedee, "she isn't weird!", peedee nervously took some steps forward, "what was that!? Was that actually you two guys mixed together or something!? I don't get it how is that even possible!?", he exclaimed, Connie laughed, "it's fusion, something gems do, Steven can fuse with humans because his mom is a gem, when we fuse we make some sort of completely new being made out of our best qualities!", peedee nervously looked towards steven who had calmed down now, "f-fusion??", he studdered.
"Peedee, how about you and steven fuse together?", Connie said, making both steven and peedee freak out, "WHAT!?", they both yelled in unison. "Connie, fusion seems difficult, it isn't just funny dancing we gotta sync up perfectly or something, thats what my mum told me", steven replied, trying to tell her no in the nicest way he could think of, "and I don't wanna lose my body! What if I'm stuck being someone else forever!?", peedee cried, connie laughed again, "me and steven have been stevonnie a couple times and we never got stuck! Trust me it isn't that bad! I think you'd like it", peedee took a deep breath, "fine, if I can leave this fusion whenever I want I'll try it". Steven stood to the other side of the room to try and make space, "all right peedee, I hope this doesn't scare you", he said, wanting to make this as comfortable for him as possible.
Connie sat down and watched them, she was alreading thinking of what their fusion name would be and how they'd look, she wished she'd brought some of her pens and paper to draw the hypothetical design. both steven and peedee where very nervous, constantly looking at eachother to see if the other hadn't walked off. Connie played some music on her phone but was quickly told by steven to turn it off, he didn't want any distractions, peedee protested, he took his phone out and played music he liked and made sure it was loud, he did this to distract himself. Finally, after some bickering, they both started to dance, peedee kept his eyes closed to try and ignore steven and the both of them danced to the music alone and barely close to one another.
Connie didn't like this, she tried calling them to get closer and they reluctantly did, now slightly bumping into eachother, "COME ON A LITTLE BIT MORE!", she yelled over the very loud music, "ALRIGHT FINE!", Steven called back, running to the other side of the room, crawling up onto a chair, jumping off and trying to spin to peedee, "STEVEN WHAT ARE YOU DOI-", before peedee could finish his sentence they bumped into eacthother and a blue light lit up the entire house, even outside the entire home glowed bright blue.
Connie was shot back into the wall, thankfully not shot hard enough to be hurt or leave any damage, she quickly got up and picked up her phone, ready to film this new fusion, she was trembling from excitement. When the light was gone, a new, much taller being stood, they were looking at their hands and their clothes, their surroundings and then connie, they awkwardly gave her a little wave.
Their hair was blonde and almost looked like it was made out of fries like peedee's, but their eyes and most of their face was Steven's. They took some steps towards connie, trying to get used to their new body. "H-hey there, connie", they finally spoke, it was difficult for them to choose their first words, peedee wanted something cool, Steven wanted to act natural. "Hey,there...Steven, peedee? Ste-dee?". The fusion laughed, "ste-de is a cool name, I think that will be mine from now on, I'll be Ste-dee fryverse! How does that sound?", they finally agreed on something. The fusion gave connie a big smile, they had one tooth missing, "that sounds great, Ste-dee what are you going to do now?", she asked, trying to hide the fact she was feeling slightly jealous someone else was fused with steven.
Ste-dee walked around and then went to the window to look out, "if we went outside beach city, do you think we'll be recognised?", he asked, "Well, you do still look a lot like peedee but not enough to be mistaken as him", Connie replied, "that's perfect! Maybe i- we can finally get a break! I know where dad-Greg's money is stashed too I can finally go to Funland!!", stedee dashed around the house at an amazing speed, quickly getting some money from Greg's secret stashes and running out the house, connie had to chase after, calling the name of the fusion and begging them to slow down.
Ste-dee would spend hours at the arcade, the amusement Park and just running around beach city, it was a great way to test out their new fusion and also to finally give steven and peedee and much deserved break, during this connie would still be chasing after them, checking the time to make sure her parents wouldn't be home yet.
When they were at the arcade mashing buttons with one hand and holding a giant cup of coke in the other, a strange man with similar blonde hair appeared. "Peedee?", he asked, the fusion nervously turned around, "oh you're not- you must be new around here, right?", he then leaned into the fusion's ear, "beach city isn't much of a safe place you know, it may seem like the average small town but it's filled with many paranormal, and alien secrets, I have been researching this place for my whole life on my blog and have discovered the biggest secrets of the earth!", they then gave Ste-dee a pamphlet and walked off, trying to look mysterious.
"Ugh, that's my brother or should I say half brother Ronaldo, he's crazy like that-", ste-dee told themselves, looking down to see whatever they where given, when they looked down at the pamphlet, they froze. "Keep beach city gem-free!", was written at the top, in the middle was a drawing of a blue skinned demon woman eating people, under the drawing "the truth of the diamond gem people" was written and in the far left bottom corner, "authorised by shashkyankyki International". the fusion suddenly unfused upon seeing this, Steven was still holding the pamphlet and peedee was knocked to the ground, thankfully no one saw this.
"Hey Steven what are you doing!", peedee yelled at him, getting up from the gross arcade carpet, surprisingly he was the one who didnt want to unfuse. Steven was frozen, still looking at the pamphlet, that image on the front was undoubtedly his mother. "There you guys are!", Connie called to them, finally catching up to them, "I've been chasing after you guys for so long! Why did you unfuse?", "steven did it, I'm not sure but something about the weird cult thing my brother is in seemed to have freaked him out. Connie approached steven who looked back at her with a worried expression, "what is it?", she asked, "this letter, peedee's brother gave us it and its got my mum on it", he gave it to connie who was equally as shocked as him.
"Shashkyankyki? I wonder what that is?", Connie said, "it's some religious cult about rock people my brother is in", peedee replied, "they've got a whole country now or something, its really weird, don't give them any attention". "Shashkyankyki....", Steven whispered to himself, looking at the pamphlet again.
