"Hey mum!", Steven said opening the door to his house and walking in, he yawned loudly as he took off his shoes, it had been a long day today. "How have you been?", blue asked, turning around on the couch to see him, "you sound like youve been busy!", it's been a couple weeks since pink diamond was bubbled, during this time steven had been spending his time in beach city relaxing, barely doing anything involving gems. "Not really", Steven replied, going to the stairs, "lars had to be off sick so I helped Sadie work at the big donut for a bit, I got a new shirt for it but she didn't pay me so I don't think I can consider it a job yet", he said as he went up the stairs, his voice slowly trailing off.
Steven opened the door to his room and lay flat on his bed, he may be the heir to a space empire but somehow this simple human job had tired him more than any of that gem stuff had ever done. He looked up from his bed and saw the two bubbles floating near him, the bubbles that contained pink diamond and bismuth (jasper was currently kept in blue's ship as he didnt know what to do with her). He sat up on his bed and lightly pushed the bubble that contained pink diamond to the other side of the room and gently held the bubble containing bismuth in his hands. He looked down to the rainbow gem, "it's time", he said to himself, letting go of it and letting it float back to where he left it.
Steven got lapis and pearl, he needed a plan, last time bismuth saw him she thought he was blue diamond and wanted him dead, if he unbubbled her again the same would happen. "Alright I have an idea", Steven told them, "lapis as soon as bismuth forms use you water chains on her to stop her from attacking me!", "yes my diamond!", lapis half jokingly saluted him. "And pearl you'll just be extra help, you can help me poof her if she doesn't believe me-", "my steven I believe my presence will just make bismuth believe you are blue diamond even more", pearl spoke up, "she is right about that!", lapis said. "Well that's why I was going to get my mum to come in at the end!", Steven said, opening the door to his room revealing blue diamond awkwardly standing there. "Hey she isn't here yet this isn't what you told me would happen!", she complained, "I just wanted to show pearl and lapis the plan", Steven sheepishly replied, "Alright, fine", blue rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "but I won't be waiting here all day, get it over with or yellow will somehow find and post this on gembook again!".
"Alright!", Steven said under his breath, jumping up and grabbing the bubble, he lightly popped it, the gem flew in the air and bright rainbow lights shot out of it and formed into bismuth, she gently floated to the ground, she was now wearing a different apron like outfit but with bright red colours. She opened her eyes and looked around, as she saw steven she froze. "You...", she said under her breath, summoning her hammer, "LAPIS NOW!", Steven yelled, before bismuth could react 2 chains from each side of the room came out of 2 buckets of water steven had specifically prepared and covered her arms, pulling her to the ground. Bismuth stayed on the ground, unable to get up, "DAMN YOU BLUE DIAMOND!", she yelled at steven, "I'm not blue diamond", Steven told her, slowly approaching, "you think I'd believe that? I've seen it all I'm not a fool!", she yelled back, trying her best to crawl to him but couldnt, lapis was holding her down well.
"Did you hide here on earth and unbubble me as a joke? Like how you tricked garnet you where a human!", she yelled once more, "what are you doing to do to me now!? Keep me!? Isn't that what white diamond did to pearl!?". Steven looked down to her, "do you want proof I'm human?", he asked, his voice flat and serious, bismuth laughed, "prove it, blue". Steven turned to pearl, his voice still flat, "summon your sword", he told her, pearl nervously obeyed him, "why do you want me to...my diamond?", she asked, trembling as she took out her blue rapier from her gem. Steven turned to her, "I want you to slice me, I will bleed and then bismuth will see I am not a gem", pearl took some steps back, "my steven I can't! I can't hurt you!", she cried, "you won't I can heal myself!", "I agree with pearl here!", lapis said, still holding down bismuth without much difficulty, "you don't need to hurt yourself to prove it!". Steven sighed, "pearl do it now!", he commanded one last time, pearl finally obeyed, she stood next to him and raised her sword, steven closed his eyes and prepared himself, bismuth watched closely, as she sliced down she made her rapier become as small as possible, barely cutting his face, only creating a small slice in his cheek, but it was enough to make him bleed.
"You are...", bismuth didn't know what to say as she saw steven confidently looking down at her while blood poured out his face, he put his hand over the cut and healed it. "do you believe me now?", he asked, bismuth looked away, "I still won't trust you, what ever you are", she snapped, Steven loudly sighed, "you will now", he said, kneeling down and putting his hand on her head, a blue aura forming around his body, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING-", before bismuth could complete her sentence steven sent her all his memories of pink diamond, showing her the truth and what she had missed, when he let go of her she collapsed on the ground.
"If that still doesn't work, this will", Steven said, opening the door and finally letting his mother in. Lapis, Steven, blue and pearl awkwardly waited around bismuth for her to wake up again, it was taking a very long time. Bismuth gasped and stood up, "WHAT THE-", she trembled, looking up to blue, "Y-YOU!", she yelled, before she could do anything blue trapped her in a lazer, "yes its me", blue said, bismuth didn't try to move anymore in the lazer, she just fell to her knees and cried. Steven had to turn away, he couldn't bare to see her pain, he looked back to the bubbled pink diamond and pulled his mother away from bismuth, freeing her from the lazer.
"Bismuth?", he called, she looked up at him, tears streaming down her face, "would you like to see pink diamond?", he asked, she stood up, wiped away her tears and nodded, "yes, I want her to explain herself", she said.
