"Do I really need to take it all off?", blue nervously asked, "yes, we need to make sure the condition of each and every one of the spikes isn't getting worse", yellow replied. Blue was sitting on her bed, hugging her knees and completely naked, yellow was behind her, she was checking her back, the spikes from when she corrupted where still there, they where small but still noticeable enough, they still covered all of her back. "The colour seems to be fading from them, I think they'll be gone soon", yellow said, running her hand up blue's back, the weren't really sharp anymore too, barely even scratching yellows gloves. Blue shivered as yellow touched her, "I hope they're gone soon, they're so sensitive, its nearly as bad as when someone touches my gem-", suddenly she went silent as something giant seemed to cover the house, making everything dark, "could that be-!?," Blue immediately threw her dress back on and ran outside, bumping into steven as they where both about to open the front door.
As blue and steven both rushed out they where met by many ships landing outside their home. "WHAT IS GOING ON!?", yellow marched out the door, ready to attack the seemingly invading ships. One of the ship' doors finally opened and out stepped amethyst speaking to a similar looking red gem, soon all the doors started to open and all the jaspers and amethysts came out, many of them being shocked to see yellow. "What is this?", yellow asked trying to contain her rage, "AMETHYST!", Steven yelled, flying to his friend and nearly knocking yellow out the way, he tackled amethyst in a big hug, nearly knocking away the other gems around her, "I missed you so much!", he exclaimed, "haha! I can tell!", amethyst laughed, getting up from the ground.
"Act appropriately around a diamond!", holly blue agate screeched, poking her head out the door, suddenly she was knocked out the ship and onto the door by many amethysts rushing out to look around at their home planet. "I forgot there where so many!", Steven exclaimed, as he looked around in shock, everywhere was now filled with amethysts and jaspers from the beta kindergarten.
"I haven't been here in so long! I heard you where here not to long ago, right?", a skinny looking jasper said, coming out her ship with a much bigger jasper, she wore a Cape and unlike the others wore a yellow diamond uniform. "Jasper? What are you doing here?", yellow diamond asked, angrily looking at the tall gem, "I was told to come here along with all gems my types, it was said to be an order from blue diamond", the jasper replied, her voice stern and deep. "Oh really?", yellow looked back to blue, who was just smiling and helping holly blue off the ground, she was supposed to come out first but was quickly knocked out the way and slightly trampled by a horde of excited amethysts.
"Oh I forgot to mention!", amethyst said, taking steven by the hand, "there someone I'd like you to meet!", she pulled him to the large jasper, who was currently talking to much smaller gems of her type and a couple amethysts that where all circling around her. "Jasper this is steven! Steven this is jasper!", the large orange and red gem looked down to him, "hmph, just a human, I'm not sure why you wanted to show him to me, I know what a human is", she said, looking over to amethyst. "erm...I'm actually not just a human", Steven pulled down his shirt, revealing his gem, "I'm a diamond", jasper's yellow eyes widened, "I heard the rumours of a new diamond but didn't expect to meet one so soon", she knelt down to look at the gem.
"Come on jasper! Don't spend all that time with steven! Let's go around earth its our old home after all!", the smaller red gem amethyst was with said, lightly pulling on jasper's Cape, "I've seen enough of the earth, carnelian did you forget I was here to hunt down the crystal gems not long ago?", jasper said, waving away the small gem and getting up from the ground, carnelian nervously stepped away, "I'm so sorry jasper I forgot how you felt about the earth, you fought here so much, we really shouldn't have made you come", she apologised, changing the whole mood, jasper smirked, "but what would I be if I didn't follow the order, it said all jaspers had to come and I can't abandon my family!", the mood immediately went back to happy with the gems all laughing around jasper while steven awkwardly stood there.
"LISTEN UP YOU CHUNKS OF EARTH!, Holly blue yelled, she had crawled up from the top of a high tree to get their attention, "I have a new order from blue diamond! Since there are so many of you here on earth not all of you can stay for long!", an audible sigh filled the crowd or purple, red and orange gems. "Only you!", she pointed down to amethyst "8XM over there can stay for prolonged time, and the jasper who belongs to yellow diamond I have no power over so I must get a command from her before I can confirm anything, it also seems her time here will be longer than you others YOU HEAR ME!", jasper shrugged and went back to talking with the other gems, they all loved her, the smaller ones climbed onto her strong arms and she carried them around, some even tried to test their strength with her in a wrestling match, only to fail miserably, at one point she was wresting with 4 different amethyst gems and still won!
"Amethyst really seems happy with her family, I thought she'd miss earth since it's all she knew", Steven said, sitting next to pearl, on top of a tree overlooking everyone, blue and yellow had gone back into the house to continue treating her spikes. "These gems are just like her, being with one's just like you must be paradise", pearl said, looking over to carnelian carrying amethyst around while they laughed, "there's lots of Pearls like you, they're not similar though, like yellow diamond's pearl! shes nothing like you", pearl frowned, "us Pearls are different, we are especially designed and given purpose by whoever owns us, our owner greatly changes who we are", she looked back down to the partying quarz soldiers, "these gems all had the same purpose, so they're all similar, my type are the most diverse of gems"
Suddenly, jasper jumped up to the tree steven and pearl where sitting in, she was holding amethyst in one arm. "Hey guys!", amethyst waved to them, "jasper was just asking if we can use your guy's warp-pad, we wanna...you know, visit our kindergartens?", pearl snarled, she didn't want these gems anywhere near her home, she found them disgusting. "I'll see", Steven said, flying off the tree to his home, jasper and amethyst quickly following after, leaving pearl on the tree alone. Pearl sighed loudly and took a screen out her gem, "finally some alone time", she huffed, starting to draw her surroundings on the screen.
Steven opened the door and politely lead jasper and amethyst in, lapis was asleep on the couch, she'd fell asleep watching camp pining hearts marathons again. "What is she doing", jasper pointed to lapis, looking disgusted, "oh that's lapis! She's tired all the time, but that's not her fault, I think you'd be quite tired if you where trapped in a mirror for a couple thousand years!", Steven responded, leading them to the hidden warp, "that's no way for her to conduct herself in front of a diamond! all of us must be our best in front of you, you are our leaders!", jasper complained, Steven just huffed and showed her the warp, "just get on", he huffed, already regretting allowing this gem into his home.
First they warped to amethyst's kindergarten, jasper wanted to go there, she'd heard rumours amethyst was born very late and wanted to investigate why it happened herself. The kindergarten was its usually dark and creepy self, the nature around it being completely dead and colourless. Amethyst excitedly showed jasper around, showing her all the cool rocks she'd spent years with and formed close bonds with, jasper didnt seem to care for this, keeping a straight face throughout and not listening to amethyst's stories. "And finally this is my hole!", amethyst said, showing jasper the much, smaller hole right next to the ground. Jasper looked in it, then looked around to the surrounding dirt and near by holes of other amethysts, she didnt need to be a peridot to see all the issues with it. "its so small, overcooked, you're so low down!", jasper said, stepping back, "look around you! Did you not see these other holes and wonder why yours was the only one this close to the ground!?".
"I don't think that's a nice way to say it jasper", Steven spoke up, he'd kept awkwardly silent throughout their entire trip here, "there's no kind way to say it!", jasper turned to steven, "shes overcooked! Off colour! Wrong! She couldve been me!", Steven could see amethyst's pride shatter with each word jasper said, he couldn't handle it anymore. "WHAT DO YOU KNOW!", he yelled, "YOU'RE SO SURE OF YOURSELF! YOU THINK YOU CAN SPEAK LIKE THAT TO HER THEN FINE! ILL MAKE YOU REGRET IT! FIGHT ME JASPER!", his voice echoed across the kindergarten, jasper laughed, "fine, my first time fighting a diamond, but first, I'll show you why I am so 'sure of myself', why I know for sure I am the perfect fighter!".
