Jasper immediately started the fight, summoning her weapon, a helmet and immediately dashing towards steven in a flaming spin. Steven quickly summoned his wings and flew above her, he was going so fast she seemed almost in slow motion. He summoned his scythe and sliced her helmet, breaking it and sending her flying into the sand, Steven was worried about hurting her head incase he'd accidentally shatter the gem on her nose. Jasper got up from the ground, "you're a fast one", she said, wiping the Sand off her, "but speed isn't enough to beat me!", she immediately jumped up and grabbed steven, throwing him to the ground, she kept hold of him and spun him, punching him in the process, sending his sandals flying off. When she tried to punch his gem she yelped and jumped back, if she was human she would've broken her arm, "damn it, I forgot how hard diamond's are said to be", she said, holding her injured hand and giving steven some time to get up.
Steven flew to jasper and summoned a giant ball of energy and shot her in the legs, jasper tried to jump up to avoid the full force of the blast but her feet where struck, she grabbed onto Steven's foot as he tried to fly away from her, keeping a tight grip as she tried to knock her off with small balls of energy from his fingers. "Stop trying to run away coward!", jasper yelled at him, "GET OFF MY FOOT!", Steven yelled back, summoning a giant hand made out of water from the near by sea to grab onto jasper and finally pull her off him, the hand threw jasper away and slammed onto her, creating a giant crack in the ground.
Steven landed near the crack, and slowly walked towards it, summoning some sharp icicles around him in case she made a suprise attack. "have you realised my power now?", he called to her but with no response, "is that a yes?", suddenly a hand burst from the ground and grabbed Steven's legs, jasper had crawled underground to get him! She emerged and quickly started delivering strong blows to Steven's face and legs, punching some of his teeth out in the process and causing the icicles he has prepared for this exact scenario to melt.
As this was happening yellow diamond and blue diamond had finally arrived, both where shocked to see what was happening, "is he going easy on her!?", yellow laughed, "he must be! I saw your son's strength and I know this is no where near his full power!", blue didnt respond instead she was fixated on her son's fight, feeling a small bit of worry as she watched jasper beat him more and more. When jasper was finally done with him she threw him away, before she threw him, she noticed his pants where too big for him and he had to roll them up, she unrolled them right before throwing so he'd struggle to get up. Steven landed into the ocean, sinking down, jasper laughed, "I have proven myself stronger than a diamond!", she exclaimed, laughing louder and louder. Blue's eyes where completely wide, "I can't believe it!", she gasped, "steven lost!", yellow shook her head, "I'm not sure it's over yet maybe he's planning a suprise like what jasper just did!", as she said this a giant bright blue light shone from the ocean, waves started to circle where steven had landed and the light came closer and closer to the surface, jasper waited in excitement, waiting for round 2 to start.
The waves spread and there stood steven on top of a rock, completely healed, he was covered in a dark blue aura, his skin had turned the same shade of blue as his mother's, his face also resembled her more now, he had become taller, his pants now slightly too small for him and his shirt showing his stomach, his gem could be seen glowing through his clothes and his hair had become slightly longer. He started to walk towards jasper, walking on top of the water as the waves stopped and the ocean calmed down.
Once he stepped foot on the beach jasper summoned her helmet, "ready for round 2? I think I'll also win this one", she taunted him, but steven didn't respond, instead starting "round 2" with a devastating kick to the stomach, sending jasper flying, he immediately flew after her, grabbing her by the hair and kicking her up into the sky, he flew to her and kicked her to the ground, shattering her helmet with the power of his kick, then before she could hit the floor he grabbed her by the face and shoved her into some near by rocks, making sure to barely miss her gem.
"Now that's more like it!", yellow cheered on, blue was still watching but also currently texting connie, she knew connie would definitely like this new diamond form of his, it looked like all the anime drawings of steven she had sent her. Jasper got up from the rocks and ran to steven, all her punches he dodged easily, when she tried to kick him he grabbed her leg and pulled her forward, then punching her in the stomach with full force, jasper groaned in pain, Steven leaned into her, still shoving his fist deep into her stomach, "I think I win this one", he whispered, summoning a giant beam of energy and shooting it through her torso, destroying her physical form and leaving just her gem, which he quickly catched before it fell to the floor.
Steven walked to his mother who had flew to see him, "great job steven!", she congratulated him, but he wasn't so happy. He showed blue jasper's gem with a sorrowful look on his face, "I can't believe I did that", he said, starting to shrink down and return to his normal form, "at least I didn't shatter her but I was so much stronger than her, I should've never fought her", he gave blue the gem and sat on a nearby rock, resting his chin on his hands and looking out to sea. "are you kidding me?", yellow diamond laughed, starting to approach him, "it was her fault for messing with a diamond! This is what she gets!", Steven shook his head, "I hurt her so much, it felt wrong", "you must get used to that when you're a working diamond", yellow responded, Steven didn't reply, just looking away from her and continuing to look at the sea and sunset. "And don't worry she's OK!", blue said, standing in front of steven and showing jaspers gem was glowing, "she'll be back very soon! Hopefully to apologise for thinking she could fight you!".
Jasper reformed and dropped to the ground, she was now wearing the familar blue diamond uniforms the other jaspers and amethysts wore, as soon as she saw steven the bowed down to him, "I am your gem, my diamond", she vowed, Steven cringed and shook his head, "NO!", he yelled, "not like this! I don't want to rule over you! You're not mine your yellow diamond's!", jasper looked up at him, confused, then looked to yellow and blue who where equally as confused, around them a small crowd of amethyst, jaspers, holly blue, yellow and blue's Pearls and lapis formed, all watching closely. Jasper stood up and saluted him, "fine, my dia- steven, but I was never a member of yellow diamond's Court", jasper started to walk away steven tried to follow but tripped on his pants, he quickly folded them and flew after her, flying in front of her.
"then what diamond is yours?", he asked, jasper looked away, "pink diamond", she said under her breath, "I was her perfectly made guard for this planet, my planet", she then started to shapeshift her form into her old uniform with the pink diamond in the middle. Steven landed and stood in front of her, not knowing to say as he knew the truth about pink diamond. "did you fight for her in the war?", he asked, already knowing the answer but thinking letting jasper reminisce would make her feel better, "I fought the in the largest battles against the crystal gems, I saw with my own eyes the tactics of that rose quartz and her army of defective rats, I spend each day of those years of war fighting for my planet and diamond and now", she looked out to sea, wind starting to blow in he hair, "whats the point of me now, what am I without my diamond?", Steven looked away, he could feel rage for pink once again boiling inside him, he couldn't handle the suffering she had caused people, he knew she needed to be punished.
"W-would you ever like to see pink diamond again?", he nervously spoke up, fearing how jasper would react, "I would do anything for the privilege to receive an order and have her look down upon me one last time", she responded, "well", Steven took a deep breath, "I know where you can do that, where you can see pink diamond", japser looked down to him, "what?", she asked, raising an eyebrow, "its best if I ask my mum first but if we can, I'll show you", "fine", jasper then walked away, going to see the crowd of amethysts and jaspers holly blue was so desperately trying to control.
