Jasper grabbed steven by his shirt and pulled him to the warp, dragging him against the cold, hard floor of the kindergarten. Amethyst chased after them, summoning her whip and trying to wrap it around Steven's feet to pull him out of jasper's grasp. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!", amethyst yelled, japser just laughed and warped away with steven. "WAIT! DAMN IT!", amethyst slammed her hands onto the warp, "blue diamond is gonna kill me now! Where could she have taken him!?".
Jasper warped steven to the beta kindergarten, where she was made, she harshly threw him on the floor, he was now covered in sand and coughing, "get up, diamond", she said, looking down on him, he looked so pathetic. "I know what you're going to show me", steven said, getting up from the floor and wiping off the sand and dust that was now all over his clothes, "I've seen the hole you came out of, it won't impress me!", Steven tried to stand his ground but jasper just scoffed and marched to it anyway. This place was very important to her, she remembered when she was made, during the height of the war, how so many jasper where off colour and defective in this kindergarten, when she emerged it was a shock to everyone, she'd sucked up the few resources left to make gems and emerged as the perfect warrior for her diamond.
Steven flew after jasper and unsurprisingly found her standing in front of her exit hole, looking up with hands on her hips, admiring it. "You've got quite the ego", Steven said, landing next to her and making his wings dissappear, "if you where perfect like me you would have one!", she confidently replied, looking back up to the giant hole, all the other holes aroind it where misshapen and small. "well", Steven smirked, "you won't have much of an ego when I beat you!". Jasper just laughed, crossing her arms and leaning against a nearby boulder, "for a diamond you're so small, so weak, i was able to pull you around just then and yet you still think you can beat me? Hah! You're the one with the ego that needs SHATTERING!", Steven took some steps back, he was confident he would be able to fight her but still, she was quite scary.
"How about we just stop this nonsense and fight already! Stop showing me this old hole and follow me to the warp pad! I know the perfect place we can fight!", Steven pointed over to the warp pad, he couldn't take anymore of her threats, she was so annoying too, jasper confidently followed him to it, she too was sick of just waiting around and then just yelling at eachother, she wanted to pound him into the ground already. Before she stepped onto the warp with steven, she asked, "I've shown you my hole now show me yours! I want to see where such a defective diamond like yourself was made!", Steven gulped, "m-my hole...", he repeated, turning bright red, not knowing how to explain to jasper he was born in the human way. "al-alright I'll show you where I came from", he awkwardly warped them to the inside of his home. As soon as they warped away the warp activated again, it was amethyst, she frantically ran through the kindergarten, "STEVEEEEN!!!", she called, looking everywhere for him, she'd already warped to 5 different places and still couldn't find any sign of him, she was now exhausted.
Jasper looked around Steven's home, confused, "why are we in this primitive human structure again? Did you not here what I said, I SAID I WANTED TO SEE-", Steven hushed her, "MUUUUMMM", he called, quickly blue diamond rushed down the stairs, "what is it steven!? The new episode of crying breakfast friends was just about to start!", blue complained, looking half asleep, she'd gone back to bed and had another weird dream about doug while steven had been gone. "Erm....i called you because...erm", steven was already regretting this, "jasper wanted to see where I was made and I-", "this isn't the time for jasper to have a biology lesson, I'm out of here", blue mumbled, walking back up the stairs, leaving steven and jasper just standing there.
"What was that!?", jasper asked, now bored and just wanting to fight, "Are you a slightly more special pebble? Is that why you're so weak?", she began her insults again,"Youre nothing but a creation of blue diamond? Youre just like the rest of her court, nothing special, you should stop calling yourself a diamond", Steven bared his teeth and clenched his fists, he was done. "follow me now", he told her, "I'll show you where we will fight", he angrily marched out the door with her happily following him.
"Pearl? did you hear something?" Yellow diamond said, poking her head out from the kitchen. She and her pearl had just been trying to make some pie, recently yellow had become obessed with human food after the McDonald's incident. "I think I heard steven, he mentioned something about a fight with that jasper of yours, why is he hanging out with such a brute", her pearl responded, currently using a screen to post feet pics on the more...questionable parts of gembook. Suddenly yellow dropped the pie, her pearl quickly put the screen back into her gem and catched the falling pie right before it hit the ground, "my diamond are you ok!?", yellow's pearl asked, "STEVEN IS DOING WHAT WITH THAT JASPER!?", yellow shrieked, rushing up the stairs, "BLUE! BLUE! COME QUICKLY!".
"What yellow the new episode just start-", "NO TIME YOUR SON IS TRYING TO FIGHT ONE OF MY COURT MEMBERS!", yellow yelled to blue, jumping in front of the TV, "Huh...WAIT WHAT!?", blue jumped up from the bed and followed yellow outside, "where could he have gone!?", they ran around beach city, looking through every window and even under the water until they found him.
Steven and jasper were right outside the destroyed crystal gem temple, the place blue diamond had thrown when she was corrupted, the stood opposite to eachother, ready to fight, "I hope you're ready to give up your title of diamond", jasper said, taking of her Cape, "I'm going to 'shatter' your pride as you say", Steven replied.
