The high priest crawled to the knife as the crowd tried to rush at blue, by raising one arm she sent the crowd flying away from her and to the corners of the room. "MUM!", Steven called, as the priest went to try and continue the sacrifice, ready to raise his blade. blue quickly jumped behind the priest and chopped off his arm with her bare hand, it was so quick steven could barely make out what happened.
The priest screamed in pain as blood spewed everywhere "DAMN YOU DEMON!", he yelled at he clutched what was left of his arm, everything under the elbow blue had cut off. Blue then summoned her scythe from her gem and cut all the remaining chains on steven, he got up and immediately embraced his mother in a tight hug. "its better you leave now", she told him, putting her weapon back into her gem and facing the remaining cultists and the priest.
Steven stumbled away only to bump into pearl and connie, "my steven let's get out of here now!", pearl said, sounding urgent and guiding him to the hole blue diamond had made. Peedee saw steven and went to follow him, calling his name but was grabbed by ronaldo and pulled back in. "where are you going traitor!", ronaldo yelled, throwing peedee near blue, "you'd really support that creature and not your own brother and HIS PEOPLE!?", blue heard this and turned to face ronaldo, she slowly approached him, backing him up into a corner, she stared into his soul and didn't blink.
Ronaldo's back hit the wall, he now had no where to go as blue approached him, it was impossible to hide his fear, now everyone in the room was watching. "Y-you...what even are you..", he studdered, sweat running down his face, blue didnt respond, she knew exactly who he was and what he had done, instead she just blinked, and with just that one small quick blink, his head exploded, bits of brain and his eyes splattered on the wall behind him. peedee screamed, "RONALDO! WHAT DID YOU DO!", he trembled as blue turned to look at him, still wearing that stupid magical girl cosplay, somehow no blood had gotten onto her, she smiled, "you're Steven's friend? I saved you from your brother", she said, her voice sounding terrifyingly friendly.
Steven, connie and pearl ran through the wasteland outside, there was no nature to be seen, just rocks, giant temples and monuments where everywhere and the weather was extremely hot. "W-where even are we?", Steven asked pearl, stopping to look around and breath. "the shashkyankyki nation", pearl replied, "my diamond told me of this place, they where able to make an entire country of this group, it was once a part of the Congolese Union and greater nigeria but the group completely took over and drained the environment, making this empty waste, no one can actually live here anymore, only cult members do.
"We should get back!", Connie said, turning to face the temple, "no!", pearl yelled, startling the both of them, "blue is....doing things so brutal children like you shouldn't see, we have to wait for her to come to us!". "Understandable they did take her son and steven is so close to me so I should get to beat them up!", Connie replied, making steven giggle a bit, "I'm surprisingly fine with being almost sacrificed you don't need to avenge me!", Steven laughed, pearl cringed, "you don't know how violent she can get and I hope you never see that", she whispered to herself.
People screamed as they saw what blue had did to ronaldo in the blink of an eye (literally) peedee took this as the chance to escape and finally run after steven. "I am the blue diamond you wanted, your god is here!", she proclaimed, the crowd didn't have it, instead they yelled and called her a false messiah, blue laughed, and raised her right hand, suddenly all the people to her right where impaled by sharp spikes of ice that shot out the floor, somehow, the crowd still didn't believe her divinity. "You're not the blue diamond!", the high priest yelled, blue showed her gem, "I am!", the crowd continued calling her a false diamond, blue huffed, "guess I have no choice".
Peedee could see Steven in the distance, "STEVEN! STEVEN!", he called, waving his hands in the air, the hot rock floor burning her bare feet. "did you hear that?", Connie asked, "it kinda sounds like-", "PEEDEE!". Both steven and peedee ran to eachother, Steven lifted out his arms to give him a hug, as peedee got closer he also raised his arms but before they could hug he was suddenly knocked over by a giant explosion behind him, the entire temple had been destroyed in a blue light, and above the ruins was blue diamond.
She flew towards steven and the others and landed in front of them, a giant smile on her face. "sorry it took a while", she said, peedee hid behind pearl, knowing what blue did. "You saved me mum! Thank you....but why are you wearing that?", Steven pointed to blue's bizzare choice of clothing for this occasion. "I'm sailor blue! Well actually sailor Mercury, me and connie wanted to do some cosplaying", she put her arm around connie, " shes very creative and I got to experiment to see if these uniforms where actually good for fighting crime!", "Not just crime but cults!", Connie replied, both her and blue laughed together, Steven joined in but pearl and peedee where silent, they looked at eachother, pearl knew what he had seen.
Blue summoned her wings again, "we are going back to beach city now!", she waved her arms and peedee and pearl where suddenly bubbled, she picked up connie and steven with her arms and flew up with them, the bubbles floating after. Blue flew straight up into the air, putting a bubble over Connie's head incase she went too high up for her to breathe, in only a few seconds they where above earth, over looking Africa.
Shashkyankyki's nation was easy to recognise, its entire country looked dead and dry compared to the rest of the continent, no natives or animals lived there anymore, the only animals where brought from wherever for sacrifices, you couldn't live a normal life in Shashkyankyki, you had to spend each minute to the cult, there was nothing there that wasn't centered around the cult, all nature that once existed there was gone, it was truly devoid of all life.
Blue looked over the dead looking nation in disgust, "what a waste of human land, these bizzare creatures who worship a fantasy of me ruined an entire chunk of earth", blue wanted to spit down at the nation but decided not to and to be a better more polite role model. She started to fly down back to earth, Steven and connie watched in wonder as they could see so many countries from this high up, they cheered as they slowly approached beach city, they first left peedee off at his work and popped his bubble, they then did the same with connie, her parents had been very worried, she'd been gone for so long.
When they got back home, blue opened the door and immediately sat on the couch, "ugh...I can't believe Alastair changbo and his weird group are still a thing", she moaned, "you knew them? They did seem to know you?", Steven asked, sitting by her, "yeah they liked the idea of me being some sort of good luck godess then made me something to do with sacrifices, they're weirdos". "Well at least they're gone, I don't think I'm ever going to get nearly sacrificed again!", Steven laughed, laying down on the couch.
"As a diamond, we all make sacrifices for our gems", a familar voice said, Steven sat up on the couch and looked around, then he saw her, yellow diamond, standing behind him, she had shrunk down but was still as intimidating as ever. "Greetings steven", she said, her voice still serious, Steven yelped and turned to blue, he could see yellows pearl was also behind her debating with blue's pearl, "oh no", he thought, "not more guests!".
