At the bakugou residence
Bakugou was sitting on the bed with Bailey. He was teaching her some common words in sign language.
Bakugou placed his hand vertically sideways on his forehead. "Father" then he move his hand to his chin."mother"
"Try it."he said. Bailey hand placement needs more work. Bakugou nodded. He was about reach her the sign for water when his phone rang. It was midoriya.
B: hello?
M: Kacchan, I got food poisoning last night-
B: I told you to stop eating from that food truck alley. They always had bad reviews.
M: anyways, I need a favor.
B: I can cover your patrol shift. Don't worry about that.
M: it's not that. I ask shoto to cover me. I need you to speak to mister Aizawa class today.
B: make icyhot do it!
M: he did it last month. The students don't want to hear the same hero twice.
B: ....fine
M: great the class starts in a hour! Thank you so much!
Bakugou hang up the phone. He looked at Bailey who was staring at him.
"Get dress. We are going to school."he said. Bailey looked confused but started getting ready. She wear a black sweater with a ghost on it and white skirt. When bakugou left the bathroom, he noticed they was matching again.
"Change."he said. Bakugou was wearing black tshirt with a ghost on it and black jeans. Bailey ignored him and went to put her shoes on.
They left the house and went UA. Bakugou had to carry Bailey after walking around campus for few minutes. They stopped by a familiar classroom door. Bakugou didn't even knock, he just walked in. Aizawa looked disappointed while the class look surprised and shocked.
"I was hoping for shoto."said Aizawa.
"Me too, sleepyhead."said bakugou. He went in front of the class. Bailey hid her face in his shoulder.
"I am great explosion murder god dynamight."he said. Aizawa interrupted him.
"Don't make your hero name long like his and you can't use violent language with your hero name. He goes by dynamight short for a reason."said Aizawa. He glared at him.
"Aren't you supposed be asleep in your sleeping bag right now, caterpillar."said bakugou. Aizawa rolled his eyes.
"Anyways, I been hero for almost 10yrs. I been in top 5 rank for all of these years. I am currently number 2 in ranking of pro heroes. I became the best by doing best I can plus ultra." Said bakugou. The class looked interested.
"Oi, what I am supposed to do now?"he asked to Aizawa who leaning against a wall next to the whiteboard.
"Any questions for pro hero dynamight?"asked Aizawa. Almost every student raised their hands. Bakugou points to students to pick them.
"How do you prevent your quirk effects in your body early on? Your quirk creates loud explosions which can impact your hearing."she asked.
"Support gear helps."said bakugou. He regrets not getting proper gear for his ears soon though. He picked another student.
"What's your daughter quirk?"she asked.
"I am not answering that. Next!"he said. He picked different student.
"Is hard to maintain friendships once ranking comes out?"asked a guy. Bakugou isn't the best person to answer this. He saw most of his friends as rivals before becoming friends.
"You will figure it out. True friends maintain their friendships after the ranking."said bakugou. Then he turned to Aizawa. "I am done here?" He asked.
"No. Students get suit it up and be at the training grounds in 15 mins."said Aizawa. He dismissed the class. He looked at Bailey fondly.
"I missed when eri was this small."he said.
"What's the activity?"asked bakugou.
"Being a an actor in the rescue training."said Aizawa.
"That's stupid. We have real actors for that."bakugou points out.
"Yeah but Izuku volunteered to analyze the student performance for me. He would give good feedback to students afterwards."said Aizawa. Bakugou understood why midoriya was need for today.
"I can play a victim. I can give general feedback afterwards."said bakugou.
"Bailey can stay with me."said Aizawa. Bailey gripped bakugou tshirt. Her small hands was grip some of his skin.
"She can stay with me."said bakugou. They went to the training ground. Aizawa brought them to a hole in the ground.
"Seriously? Is training this basic nowadays ?"asked bakugou.
"They need to know simple and extreme rescues."said Aizawa. Bakugou sighed. He jumped down into the hole. Bakugou took a seat. He placed Bailey on his lap.
"Whole?"she signed. Bakugou taught her to sign the word hole correctly.
"It's just training exercise. It going help the students learn to be better heroes."said Bakugou. Bailey nodded. Bakugou explained what to expect during this training. Bailey looked confused but interested.
Once the training began, the students were split up into groups of 3. The most groups did decent job. They analyzed that the victims were unharmed and got the kid out first.
After half of the groups, bakugou got an idea. He whispered to Bailey what to do. He got out of the hole. He walked to the class who was talking Aizawa.
"New mission, rescue my daughter. If you hurt her, I will beat you like a pulp."said bakugou. Aizawa raised an eyebrow. He hesitated but allow the next group to go.
When Bailey started the first student to peek over the hole. Bailey super screamed. The ground shook slightly. The students wobbled a little.
"Get to moving! Kids may terrible control of their quirk! You still need to save them! Adapt!"yelled bakugou. The group started brainstorming. Aizawa looked at bakugou impressed. The group rescue her using one of the student quirk to place Bailey in a bubble to carry out of the hole.
The rest of groups completed the task with slightly difficulty. After the training was done, bakugou gave brutal honest feedback to students. Most students was disappointed in themselves.
"Let's go get ice cream."bakugou said to Bailey. Bailey squeal with excitement.
