At a fan event

Bakugou was listening to organizer explain the process. Bakugou was rocking side to side while Bailey sleeping against him. Ochako was bouncing her energetic son on her knees.

"Q&A then photo shoot. The Q&A is only 30 mins. So if you can prolong answers or share long stories to use more time."said the staff.

Bakugou and Ochako was the only pro heroes for the event. They followed the staff to event room. The room has few rows of chair in front of a stage platform.

"The fans will be let in 10 mins. I can take the kids to dressing room if you want."said the staff. The heroes declined.

"I will bring him there later."said Ochako. Bakugou agreed.

"Uncle Kacchan! Is bunny done sleeping now!?"asked Kazumi excitedly. Bakugou was holding Bailey in a slight cradle as she slept.

"No."he said. Bailey woke up with a cold. So, Bakugou gave her some medicine. Bailey is recovering right now.

"Kaz, come take a seat."said Ochako. She pick him up and sat on the stage. The stage has chairs but Ochako wants to sit on the edge of the stage. Bakugou joined her. The stage is barely few feet off the ground.

"You ready to tell how cool your mom is?"asked Ochako to her son. Kazumi smiled.

"Yeah!"he said. Bakugou chuckled.

"Outside of hero work, you are not cool. Don't make the kid lie."said bakugou.

"Says the guy who goes to bed at 8pm like a grandpa!"said Ochako. They started arguing about what bedtime was considered early. They stop arguing once the fans started filing in. Kazumi waved excitedly while the staff gave them mic phones to hold. Bakugou gave the microphone to Kazumi. Bakugou can project his voice fine.

"Welcome! I am pro hero Uravity."she said. She look at bakugou.

"They won't be here if they don't know who I was!"said bakugou. The audience giggle quietly.

"Kaz, who is he?"asked Ochako.

"Uncle Kacchan!"said Kazumi proudly. Bakugou looked disappointed.

"My hero name,shortstack."said bakugou. Kazumi thought about it before looking confused. He asked his mother. Ochako whispered it to him.

"Dynamight!"said Kazumi to the microphone loudly. Ochako adjust the microphone volume. The staff let the fans ask questions by typing their questions on their phones. The question showed on the screen in next to them. This is supposed help filter any vulgar comments or inappropriate questions. The first question appeared on screen.

Question: Uravity, do get motion sickness due to work?like can you get nausea on an plane?

"Actually no I don't. There a common misconception that my nausea due to my floating myself. But actually it due overusing my quirk."said Ochako. She shared a story about how she nauseous she was while learning her quirk. The next question appeared.

Question: Dynamight, is your daughter okay?

"She is fine. She just sleeping."said bakugou.

"Bunny been sleeping all day!"whined Kazumi. Ochako gave the audience more context about what he said.

"Bailey has been sleeping since we greet them this morning."said Ochako. " kaz is impatient because he wants play." She adds. They moved to the next question.

Question: Dynamight, what was the last tv show you watch?

"Paw patrol. I watched last night with her."said bakugou.

"Paw patrol is the best! "Said Kazumi. He started singing the theme song. Ochako join him while bakugou rolled his eyes at the annoying song.

The rest of questions were random facts that fans wanted to know like favorite food, recent hobbies and music. Then Bailey woke up. She was enjoying laying her head on bakugou shoulder when Kazumi noticed her.

"Yay! Bunny you awake!"said Kazumi. Bailey nodded. She wiggled in bakugou arms. Bakugou placed her on the stage. Kazumi started talking fast to Bailey who could barely keep up. The hero continued the questions.

Question: Dynamight, you give everyone a nickname. What's Bailey nickname? And why?

"Mouse."he said. Bailey looked at bakugou. " because she quiet as a mouse." He adds.

"Nuh! Bunny can scream very very loud!"said Kazumi. Bailey nodded agreement.

"And she is tiny like a mouse."said bakugou with a smirk. Bailey glared at him.

"Kacchan tall like elephants." Signed Bailey. Bakugou started laughing. She did wrong sign for elephants. She did a sign for mouse instead.

"What did she say?"said Ochako with confusion. He explained Bailey did the wrong sign for elephant. Bailey pouted angrily as she fold her arms.

"If you stop pouting, I will give you two cookies."said bakugou. Bailey nodded happily.

They answered few more question before the Q&A ended. The kids went to the dressing room while the hero took photos with the fans.

~later that night

Bakugou was quickly drying Bailey with a towel. He wanted to go bed. Patrol was busy this evening, he just want go sleep. He didn't realize he was accidentally scratching her arm.

"Ow."she said softly as she pulled back her arm.

"Sorry! I didn't me-"he stopped when he realized what she just said. He looked at the quiet child in disbelief. Bailey was looking at the light scratch on her upper arm. Did his ear play a trick on him? Maybe he too tired right now because he imagining that his daughter spoke.

"Sorry about this."he said. He kissed the scratch. She got dress for bed. Bakugou went a story to her before bed. Bakugou laid in bed as he wonder if he really heard her or not.

He knows Bailey has selective mutism. So it's possible that she spoke. But he didn't why she spoke now. His mind was running a mile a minute with theories.
