26. Girls day

At the bakugou residence

Bakugou was making breakfast when Bailey sleepy walked in. Bakugou sighed when he isn't going to be able finish cutting the fruit. Bailey hugged his leg. He picked her up like usual. She normally wakes up few minutes after him. She looks for him so can get more cuddles.

Bailey snuggles her face in the nook of his shoulder. Bakugou rubbed her back.

"Warm."she mumbled. Bakugou looked at the kid disbelief. Bakugou hugged her tightly. He kissed her head. He finished making breakfast. Then he woke her up to eat. He placed her in her seat. Bailey started eating. He went to the fridge.

"You want apple juice or orange juice?"he asked. He glanced at her. She was two fingers. He pour her a glass of orange juice.

"Thank you."she signed. Bakugou petted her head. At least she is getting better at sign language he thought. He joined her at the table to eat. He heard Knocking at the door. Bailey ran to hide while bakugou when answer the door. It was his mother.

"Why you here?" He asked.

"To have a girls day with my grandbaby."said mitsuki before allowing herself in.

"I told you no!"said bakugou. When his mother suggested the idea, bakugou was interested until she started having activities that required them to leave the house.

"What's the difference between Bailey staying at the daycare and staying with me?"she asked. He was about explaining the security at the agency when his mother spoke.

"I was able to protect you before you had a quirk. I can handle this. Now, where's my baby?"she asked. Bakugou smirked.

"If you can find her,she is yours for the day."said bakugou. There was low possibility of his mother finding her. Bailey doesn't come out when guest are here unless bakugou calls her.

"Fine."she said with determination. She started searching. She found Bailey hiding behind a basket in the closet. Bakugou was slightly disappointed in Bailey hiding skills. Bailey was found in under 30 mins.

"Get ready, mouse. You going with the old hag for few hours."said bakugou. Bailey pick a cute outfit then bakugou style her hair.

"You look so adorable."said mitsuki to Bailey. Bailey looked at bakugou with a raised eyebrow.

"I did a great job with your hair."said bakugou. Bailey gave him a flat look.

"You know that I know that you are cute. Stop fishing for compliments."said bakugou. Bailey smile proudly before going out her shoes. Bailey was about put her scandals when bakugou took the shoe from her.

"Until you master tying your shoes, no scandals."he said. He gave her tennis shoes. Bailey pout angrily as she struggled to tie the shoelaces.

"It's a hot day. She could wear scandals."mitsuki points out. Bailey pouted at bakugou when she heard that.

"Don't care. " he said to his mother. Then he looked at the child. "You are not going to get better unless you keep trying." He adds. Bailey frown. After few minutes, Bailey sloppily tied her shoes.

"Call me if you need anything."said bakugou.

"Oh! When I have your daughter, I call whenever I want but I can't call whenever I want!"she said. Bakugou ignored her. He looked at Bailey.

"See you later. Spend all money the old hag has."said bakugou. Mitsuki glared at her son. She was already planning on spoiling the little girl but now he assumes she made out of money. She was about scold him when Bailey giggled. She hugged bakugou leg before grabbing mitsuki hand.
