At the wonder duo daycare

Kazumi and Bailey were the last ones to be picked up from daycare. The kids are used to it now. They were helping the staff clean up and prepare for tomorrow. Kazumi happily ran to his mother when she walked in. Bailey waved to the adult. Ochaco hugged her son before walking to Bailey.

"Your dad is working late today. You can stay at our house until."she said. Bailey shook her head in denial.

Bakugou always comes to pick her up! He told her he would be back to pick her up this morning! Bailey sat on the floor in protest with her arms folded.

"Izuku and katsuki are both working late. The daycare is closing soon. You can't stay here."said Ochaco. Bailey didn't move an inch. "Katsuki text me to pick you up." She said as she lie through her teeth. Technically, bakugou didn't directly tell her that. He gave permission in advance for the midoriya family to take Bailey home if he has to work late.

Ochaco knew her husband and his best friend are on a rescue mission right now. They couldn't answer their phones. So ochaco needs to convince Bailey to come with her some white lies.

Bailey was hesitant but agreed to go with her. Kazumi was excited while Bailey wonder when her father is coming.

When they arrived at the midoriya residence, Kazumi took Bailey to play video games. They played until dinner. Ochaco served them chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese. Kazumi happily ate it while Bailey frown as she look at the food.

Bakugou always has dinner with her. Bailey eyes started watery as she reminded that her dad isn't here. Bailey rarely goes anywhere without him. She wanted her daddy.

"Bunny! Why you crying?"asked Kazumi.

"Do you not like the food?"asked Ochaco. Bailey continued to cry. Ochaco realized the problem. She kneeled to next her. She rubbed the little girl back.

"Your dad will be back soon. But you don't want him to be sad that you didn't eat."said Ochaco. Bailey nodded sadly. She slowly ate her food. After dinner,Ochaco gave her son a bath while Bailey standing on her tippy toes to look out the window. She looked at the empty street with a frown. She saw a car. She smiled excitedly. Her smile turned into a frown as the car drove past the house. She heard laughter. She turned around. Ochaco was tickling Kazumi as they left the bathroom.

Bailey thought about when bakugou discovered she was ticklish. She didn't know he knew her feet was so ticklish until she playful stuck her tongue at him. He grabbed her feet and started tickling her. She was giggling mess.

Bailey smiled at the memory before frowning again. She glanced back at the window and wonder when is he coming home.

"Bailey, let's watch a movie!"Ochaco suggested. Bailey nodded. They watched the movie cars. Bailey tried to enjoy the movie but her mind was brainstorming different theories of why bakugou isn't here. She didn't noticed they were watching third movie until Kazumi requested another one.

"We watch all three cars movies. It's time for bed."said Ochaco. Kazumi whined. Ochaco guided them to Kazumi room. She tucked them into bed. She kissed Kazumi forehead as a good night.

"Night, little ones."she said. She turn on a night light before she left. Kazumi yawned before speaking.

"Night bunny."he said. Bailey looked at ceiling. She can't sleep without bakugou. The bed feels too cold without him. Bailey started silently crying. She wanted her dad already. She stay up thinking about what could had happened to him. She got sadder with each thought. She heard the front door opened in the quiet house. Bailey quietly got out of bed and opened the bedroom door.

"How did it go?"asked Ochaco. Bailey walking down the hallway. She could see Ochaco standing the door way.

"Everyone safe."said Izuku. Bailey frown he realized it just Izuku at the door. She was about turn back to Kazumi bedroom when she familiar voice.

"But the criminals got away!"said bakugou.

"Quiet it. the children are slee-"she was interrupted by Bailey squealing with joy as she ran to bakugou. She leaped into his arms. She hugged him.

"She really miss you."said Ochaco.

"I can see that."said bakugou with a chuckle as he hugged her.
