At the bakugou residence
Bakugou was making lunch while Bailey napped. His phone rang. It was FaceTime from midoriya. He answered before propping the phone nearby. He was cutting vegetables as midoriya greeted him.
"Hi Kacchan!" Said midoriya. He looked like he wasn't home.
" where are you?" Asked bakugou.
"On the chitter show! So please mind your words. So they don't have edit so much." Said midoriya. Bakugou rolled his eyes.
"What do you want?" Asked bakugou as he poured the chopped vegetables into a pot.
" you are my phone a friend! I need help answer these questions to win this round." Said midoriya.
"Well I am busy. Call someone else."he said as he gestured to the cutting board.
"You are the only one available right now. Please!" Said midoriya. Bakugou sighed. Midoriya told the host to ask the question.
"What gets wet while drying?"asked the host.
"A towel." Said bakugou. He started seasoning the meat.
" correct. What can you catch, but not throw?" Asked the host.
"A cold." He said as focus on seasoning. The answer was correct. Midoriya cheered for him.
" you are amazing Kacchan." Said midoriya.
"How many questions are there?" Asked bakugou. Midoriya shrugged. Bakugou finished up seasoning as he listen to the next question.
"What can travel all around the world without leaving its corner?" Asked the host.
" a stamp." He said. The answer was correct. He placed the meat in the pot before putting on the stove. The host was complimenting bakugou intelligence when Bailey walked in the kitchen. She sleepily waddle to bakugou.
"Mouse, you can't be in here." Said bakugou. Bailey ignored his warning as usual as she made grabby hands at him. Bakugou picked her up and carried her with one arm. She laid her head on his shoulder.
" hey Bailey!" Said midoriya. Bailey waved.
"Oh goodness! I can see?!" Said the host. Midoriya move the phone closer to get the host in the camera.
" she is adorable." Said the host.
" what's the next question?" Asked bakugou as he continued to cook with one arm. He wanted hang up already.
"What has one eye, but can't see?" Asked the host. Bailey was curiously watching her father cook.
" a needle."he said. The answer was correct.
" last question, What kind of band never plays music?" Asked the host.
" a rubber band." Said bakugou. It was correct. Midoriya cheered as host congrats him on winning the mini game. Midoriya placed the camera back on himself.
"Thank you for helping!" Said midoriya. Bakugou nodded.
" whatever. Mouse, say bye to Izuku." Said bakugou. Bailey shook her head. She pointed to the screen.
"Deku." She said. Midoriya was wearing his pro hero uniform. Midoriya was surprised Bailey actually spoke. Bakugou told his friends that Bailey likes speaking to him. Midoriya was happy for him but he still in shock at her voice.
"What is my hero name?" Asked bakugou. Bailey looked confused as she thought. Her friends told him before but she couldn't remember.
"Grape Die all might?"said Bailey. Midoriya laughed. Bakugou looked disappointed.
"My hero name is too long for you to say anyways." He said. He petted Bailey head.
" we all told you that your hero name was too long." Midoriya points out. Bakugou glared at the phone.
" don't you have interview to do!" Said bakugou. He hanged up. He finished cooking as Bailey told the awesome adventure she had in a dream during her nap.
After lunch, bakugou phone was ringing like no tomorrow with notifications. The show that Izuku was on earlier, post some clips from filming to promote the up upcoming episode. There was a clip of bakugou asking what is his name and Bailey answering incorrectly. Fortunately it was just the audio of the phone call and video of host and midoriya reactions.
The comment section was full with people in shock that Bailey can talk and laughter because of Bailey answer. His friends were texting him to the clip and asking if that clip was real or not. He went to instagram and started a livestream. He didn't use his livestream feature but today he will make an exception. The watcher count went past 100k within seconds.
"To answer a popular question, Bailey has selective mutism but she has a voice." He said. He ignored the comments on screen. " mouse! Come here!" He yelled.
" but I can't find the remote!" She yelled back. Bakugou went to the living room. He grabbed the remote from the bookshelf. Bailey doesn't search for anything above her eye level. Bakugou paused the tv.
" mouse, what is deku real name?" Asked bakugou.
"Daddy?" Asked Bailey. Bakugou had to bit his tongue from cussing at his child. He took a deep breath before speaking.
"No. That's not his name." He said.
" but kaz calls him that!" Bailey points out.
" but what do you call him?" Asked bakugou.
"Izuku!" Said Bailey proudly. Bakugou nodded.
" can I have a cookie for being smart?" Asked Bailey excitedly. Bakugou smirked.
" sure if you can tell me what's my name?" Asked bakugou.
"Kacchan!" She said proudly. Bakugou shook his head.
"That's a nickname." He said. Bailey frowned.
" brat! Granny calls you that!" Said Bailey. Bakugou shook his head.
" blasty!" She said. Bakugou shook his head.
" hint please." She said.
"It starts with a k." Said bakugou.
" Kacchan!" Said Bailey. Bakugou shook his head. Bailey pouted in frustration and she grabbed the tv. She went back to watching tv on the couch. Bakugou went to the kitchen.
"She doesn't get treats all the time. It bad for her teeth." He said as he grabbed the cookie jar. He gave two cookies to Bailey.
" I need two more for Mimi!" Said Bailey.
" Mimi can't have cookies.you little Cookie Monster." He said. He ended the livestream. He put up the cookie jar. He sat in the living room and taught her on to say his official pro hero name and his real name. He ignored the rapid notifications from his phone.
