43. Birthday

At the bakugou residence

Bailey watched as bakugou placed the whipped cream on top of the chocolate chip pancake stack in front of her. Then he added sprinkles on top. Bailey was bouncing with excitement. Bakugou placed one candle on the stack. Bailey smiled turned into confused.

"Is it candy?"asked Bailey.

"No it's a candle."said bakugou. He lit the candle with a match.

"Why is it on my pancakes?" Asked Bailey with pout. Bakugou woke up her with the promise of her favorite pancakes.

"For the photo, the old hag wants one." He said. Bailey smiled as bakugou took photo. Bailey blow out the flame before eating.

" happy birthday, mouse." Said bakugou. He petted his daughter head. Bailey happily ate her pancakes. Then they got dressed and ready. Bailey worn yellow romper and bakugou match her with a yellow t shirt.

"What hairstyle you want today?" Asked bakugou. Bailey thought about it.

" two buns!" Said Bailey. Bakugou had to watch YouTube first before giving her two space buns in her hair. Then they went to the car. Bakugou let her pick the music for the today. He immediately regretted it when he heard the beginning of the frozen movie soundtrack. But Bailey was happily singing her heart out so bakugou tolerated it. They went to a go kart racetrack. Bailey was in awe at the go karts zooming around.

Bakugou made an appointment for them to use the track for few hours. Bailey was tugging at bakugou hand as she pointed to different go karts. Bakugou was signing the waivers. Then they was able to use the go kart. Bakugou picked a kid friendly kart. He fasten Bailey straps before doing his own.

"Ready?" Asked bakugou. Bailey nodded as she squealed with excitement. Bakugou pushed the gas pedal. The kart sped down the track and increased speed as they lapped around the circle track. Bailey smiled big as she held on to her father arm. Bakugou slowed down little.

"No! Faster!" Whined Bailey.

"Wanna see a trick?" Asked bakugou. Bailey nodded. Bakugou increased his speed then turn the wheel hard to drift the kart to through the  path.

"Woah!" Said Bailey. They spend the rest of time driving on different racetrack in the facilities. Bailey love every second of it. When they went back to car, Bailey spoke.

" best birthday ever!" She said. Then bakugou took her to the salon to her feet and nail did.  Bailey enjoy getting her feet soak in the fancy feet tub as the worker painted her nails. After her feet was painted, she demanded to be carried.

" mouse, your paint is dry." Bakugou points as he carried the child with her shoes in his hands. He went to pay for the service at the front desk.

"Pro hero Dynamight?" Asked lady in shocked. Bakugou nodded." So nice to meet you. You have beautiful daughter." She adds.

"Thank you." He said as he swiped his card. They left the spa. Bakugou placed Bailey in her seat. He was about placed her shoes back on when Bailey spoke.

"Granny always take photos of my hand and feet!" Said Bailey. She placed her hands on feet to pose for the photo. He took a photo sent to his mother. She texted back immediately.

Hag: you didn't get any designs?!
B: she wanted only glitter.
H:  she normally gets designs on her toes! See this why I take my grandbaby to the spa!

Bakugou rolled his eyes. He looked at Bailey who putting her shoes on.

" she said they look cute." Said bakugou. Bailey smiled. Bakugou fasten her straps of her seat.

" this was awesome! Can we do again next year?!" Asked Bailey.

" I think about it." He said. He drove to the todoroki residence. He helped Bailey out of the car. She immediately wanted to be pick up.

" you have your shoes on."bakugou points out. Bailey lay her head on his shoulder. He walked to  door. He opened it.

"Papa, you should knock first." Whispered Bailey. They barely closed the door when they heard voices.

"Surprise!" Yelled the group. Bailey screamed at the sudden noise. Then she immediately hid her face in embarrassment.

"I specifically told you guys not scared her!" Yelled bakugou. " Momo follow me." He demanded. They went guest bathroom.

"Can you make her new clothes and me new shirt?" Asked bakugou. Momo nodded as she apologized. Bakugou undressed Bailey from her wet clothes. Momo created a yellow princess  dress and underwear. She help the birthday girl get dressed. She placed the tiara on the little girl head.

"Now you look like a birthday princess." Said Momo. She made bakugou a yellow button up shirt. They joined the party. Bailey went to play with her friends. They had a bounce house in the backyard. Bakugou immediately scolded his friends and family.

"I told you guys multiple times not scare her!" Said bakugou.

"Sorry we got excited." Said Kirishima.

"You want a drink?" Asked Mina. Bakugou nodded. He joined them at the porch. He watched Bailey hop in the bouncy house. He smiled fondly.
