Aarav

I sipped the last of the vodka left when someone knocked on my door. I wasn't in the mood to deal with any of my cousins at this hour.

I get up from the bed and did a lazy walk to the door. "I defeated Royal knights" he throws a bottle of vodka and walks past me.

"You're skills certainly dulled enough if you think a match with Royal knights was worth battling" Adi sighs sprawling on my bed "You know normal people would say congratulations" there's another knock on my door before I could answer three figures filter in my room.

"Seriously?" I complained when I noticed seven boxes of pizzas. I eyed Sharan for some support as he looks equally bored. "I had no option" he replies in boredom.

"Alright. We have cokes and pizzas. Let's just party na!" Moksha jumps to grab my arm and I rub my face. "Fine" I settle in a nearby couch when they started unwrapping stuffs.

Sharan takes a seat beside me, he appears as if he's drained of all sleep. "Tu theek hai?" (Are you okay?) he doesn't answers immediately. "Why?" he kept his gaze on the phone.

"I don't hear you much" I suspected him for a while. Sharan is hardly conversant but from a month I noticed a slight change in his personality as if something's bothering him. Maybe it's just my thoughts.

"That is conservation of energy" No this aschole is perfectly fine if he's capable of resorting to such savagery.

"Why don't we play a game?" Aaksha suggests and I make a not-again sorta face to avoid their stupid games. "Sure" Adi hops from the bed to sit beside his twin while spilling some of the coke-vodka on the carpet in the process.

"Come make a circle" we do. I guess it might help freshen up my mood too.

"Use my vodka bottle" he chugs the last of the drop from the bottle and tosses it to Moksha. "Everyone's ready" she raises one brow and twists the bottle with a sly grin.

I silently prayed to be avoided going first but my luck is as twisted as a dog's tail. I flipped the bottle in annoyance "Get it over with" I rolled my eyes when a loud clap reverberates in the room.

"Finally I got the chance" he gives me a very dirty look. But I imply him enough to let him know if he did something stupid he'll regret it.

"Truth or dare Aarav" I sighed and was about to answer when Sharan interrupted "It's just dare no truths" he played well. But I'm not a coward. Not like the one snoring next to my room.

"I give a dare Aarav to go in Mayra's room through her balcony and come out of her door" everyone woos in excitement and I throw a couch pillow at his pitbull like face.

"Kitna easy dare hai Adi. Wo to so rahi hai Aarav jakr easily bahar aajayega" (what an easy dare Adi. He'll just walk out of that door easily as she's sleeping) I don't hear Moksha as I was long busy piercing Adi with my glares.

"I know. Mai bas dekhna chahta hu ki Aarav ye kar skta hai ki nahi" (I know. I just want to see if he can really do that) my gaze shortens on his smirk. He's certainly upto some crazy shit. But if he thinks I'll back down I'm always up to shatter his delusions.

I get up with a smirk plastered on my face "Is there time limit?" he throws the same pillow back "Take however long you want" was all he said. A muscle feathered in my jaw as I clenched it harder.

Not paying attention to the rests. I enter the balcony and crossed the railing to catch the pipe. I abruptly hooked my fingers on the cold metal ring. Sighing for the hundredth time I ran a string of curse for Adi.

As I rounded the wall I catch the railing and with a deep inhale I hopped onto her balcony missing the fall by mere inches. As I seized some breath I caught her wide awake gazing down on the garden. Two extra punches to him for this.

"You're awake?" she turns so hastily her chest heaving up and down. She's wearing a white t-shirt and apparently no underthing, her hairs left unbound dancing on the wind.

She's surprised as if I just caught her thinking about me. Or was it really?

"W-what are you doing here?" she stutters which makes me smirk. I like her scared. This is actually the best part of the day.

"Tumhe kya lagta hai?" (What do you think) she exhales sharply moving back inch by inch. I follow the same rhythm as I close in on her inch by inch.

"Mujhe lgta hai tum manner-less ho" (I think you're manner-less) a chuckle leaves my mouth as I place my hands on the railing either side of her "Aur kuch?" (Anything else?) I can practically breathe in her scent now. That lavender lotion. She caught me taking a whiff of her scent but she doesn't opposes.

Her soft brown eyes sparkled due to the dim light coming from the room. As I stared deep into her eyes she averts her gaze immediately and pushes me harder "You need to leave" I suppress the urge to grind my molars hard, I rolled my eyes before twisting "Sure".

As I was about to leave a voice calls from the outside "Mayra? Are you awake?" fvck. What is Iti bhabhi doing at this hour.

I snake a hand through my hairs as she runs towards me with her little feet. "Oh god. Iti ne tumhe yaha dekha to wo galat samjhegi" (Oh god. If Iti finds you here she'll think something's going on) she panics her hands fidgeting with each other.

I noticed whenever she's panicked or stressed she chews on her lips. I blinked diverting my gaze from her to the door.

"What are you waiting for? Leave" she whispers and at that moment I contemplated what will be her reaction if her sister finds her with me locked up in a room.

"Okay" I made to grab the door just when she jumps between me and the door "Pagal hogye ho. Yaha se nahi balcony se" (Not from here. From the balcony) she hisses slowly and I pinched my brows.

"Mai tumhare liye apni tange tudwadu?" (I won't fracture my leg for you) her gaze sharpens on me "Ye aane se pehle sochna tha" (Should've thought beforehand) I passed my glare from her to the door knob but she grabs my hand.

By now I think Iti bhabhi must have left but I couldn't hear her footsteps because of the constant radio blabbering beside me.

"Hath chordo. lagi to mujhe mat kehna" (Leave my hand or if you get hurt don't blame me) her glare only intensifies as she digs her nails into my flesh. Those sharp ends piercing my skin and drew blood from my hand.

"Do you have a bloodlust for me Mayra?" she paused, her nails recoiled but her hand remained. Her eyes softened or maybe lost for a second.

I took advantage of the moment and grabbed the knob but her instant reaction stopped me from completely twisting it. Resulting. its damage.

The knob broke.. the entire thing was in my hand now. I brought it in front of my face but before she could notice that the fault was mine I threw it somewhere behind a table.

I cursed the door opening it wide "Sorry for the ..knob" she looked as if she wasn't paying attention to any of my words.

I left without glancing back.
