"Hey Mayra!" Moksha practically lunges for a hug and I push away the chair to stand only to get knocked down back by her.
"Where were you?" I ask as others settled around the table. Aarav was the last one to take a seat. Not for once did he paid a look to me as he fished out his phone and started scrolling.
I find it weird because you will hardly find Aarav engaged on his phone. Not that I care "Oh I had someone to meet regarding some fest organization" she clarifies and I provided a nod at that.
It was quite for a moment before some of the students or mainly female ones rushed by with several meals "Hey Adi, have some" the one with blue ends sheepishly grins at him just when he looks up "Oh hey doll. Did you made it for me?" his grin was all flirt.
"You like them" the doll adds and I cough shortly to avoid the scene in front of my eyes. Adi only smirks and passes a wink at me before waving back at the blue doll as she left at last. And she definitely eyed Aarav as if summoning his attention for once as she walks away.
"Babe you're not eating?" my gaze flicks to Adi and he runs a hand into his hairs messing them even more "I don't have an appetite" I answered.
And I was about to go back to my phone and re check my schedule when someone passed by me like a swift breeze and I only noticed after she settled on a chair next to Aarav.
The Cheshire cat pulls a tight lipped smile looking me up and down.
It's now that I notice her attire, she wore a white kurti paired with denim and oxidized earrings.. which was so un-Sherlyn thing.
"Hello Sherlyn" the one beside me calls her and Sherlyn's gaze extends to Moksha "Hey Moksha" the way they two greet each other sometimes feels so intimidate.
"Didn't see you through the end of the trip?" Moksha pushes off the chair and leans on the table. All gothic in her black jumpsuit with hair up in a messy bun.
"I had something up at home.. though I did say goodbye to Aarav" she presses close to his side and surprisingly he didn't react much to it.
My gaze narrowed on them and for some strange reasons I had the urge to jump up and throw the glass full of water at her face. Maybe she'll stand screaming or yelling but that'll be worth getting her out of Aarav's reach.
What am I even thinking?? You know the answer.
I huffed out all the thoughts and focused on the situation currently. "Aj solar eclipse hai ky?" (There was solar eclipse today?) all the heads snapped towards Adi munching on a muffin.
"Nhi kyu" (No why?) the curl head beside him raised his brows "Sherlyn ne poore kapde pehne hai" (Sherlyn actually wore full clothes) they both burst into a pit laughter mid sentence.
