Mayra
I contain my laughter as Moksha clutches my arms dragging me down the stairs that lead to the open campus of our college "Muku slower" I add in a hurry.
I can sort of imagine her excitement as the college has announced it's holidays for the occasion. It's been two months ever since things changed. I briefly glimpsed the diamond shinning on my ring finger.
After the drastic turn of events Abeer uncle decided to engage me and Aarav together. I still get goosebumps remembering the times when I almost lost him. It's hard to process that he's mine now. Mine alone. And Aarav always makes sure I never forget that.
I love us. I love everything about us except for one thing. I can never get accustom to the attention, and being Aarav's fiancee has given me exactly that.
We passed a group of boys at a corner of the campus and they all stiffened spotting us. Maybe there are some benefits after all.
As we exited the campus we stumbled upon three boys already waiting for us at the gates "Where were you!?" Adi jumps off from the bonnet of his car and rounds to settle on the driver's seat.
"Nothing a professor wanted to wish us happy holidays" Moksha answered for me and I actively avoid Aarav's gaze. "And who might that be?" the devil questions walking towards me and I try not to shiver.
Reyan muffles his laugh while approaching Moksha "You don't need to know" I walk past all of them and settle in the passenger seat of his car.
He mumbles something to his sister before entering the car. I take a long inhale while stretching my feet in the space "Tired?" he says, tucking a stray hair behind my ear. I only hum turning my body sideways to have a full view of him.
Moksha and Reyan have left in Adi's car and now we're all alone.
He keeps staring at me, his gaze ever so soft and full of mischief. My Aarav.
"I love how you look at me" he mumbles getting lost and I feel his touch on my thighs inhaling sharply. He slips his hand under them and in one smooth motion pulls both my legs on his lap. I resist a gasp because he was already smirking. Maybe it was a nice idea to wear a skirt today.
"And how do I look at you" I play with words slowly blinking at him while he drives and with soft hands massages my feet.
"Like I'm the best thing you own" I try to survive the multiple flips my stomach did in just one second. "best is maybe an understatement" I add sarcastically. "Yeah. Sexiest is the right word" he chuckles squeezing my calf and I suppress a whimper.
His hands feels so good on my body.
"Sleep Mayra" he orders rounding the steer and the movement plays on loop for seconds or maybe it's just in my head "Kyu. Tumne kuch kra to" (Why. You might do something to me) I mock rubbing my feet to his stomach in a slow motion, he inhaled silently shutting off his eyes.
