**** Hey guys sorry there wasn't an update before, I didn't have wifi. But heres a long-ish chapter to make up for it :D

I thought the song was kind of funny and kind of fit with the girls in respect to the new character. so yeah.

I hope you all enjoy!

It's been roughly 2 years (in this book not real time) from the beginning. 2 years since Ryker got out of jail and this all began. Kind of crazy huh. I think it's been maybe a year or so since I started this? Maybe more, I don't remember. ****

The sun was past creeping, it was pouring in the windows and dousing me in annoying, bright, blinding heated rays.

I tried to hide my face in the pillow, but instead I bonked heads with Leah and we both fell out of bed groaning.

Somewhere among the groans there was an apology, and we got up and stumbled to the bathroom. We took turns using the bathroom and washing our faces, and then we went to the kitchen where Luna and Echo were making breakfast.

We ate, barely keeping our eyes open, using each other for support so we wouldn't fall off the chairs.

We had gotten so used to the working nights and sleeping during the day that we still got groggy in the mornings, more than was normal.

The nurses had a lot of fun with that in rehab, I would barely be awake until lunch time. They hated it, but what could I do, really.

Luna and Echo went out front to call Max and Andy, and Leah and I went out back.

I couldn't help but think that soon Leah would be going out front with them to call Ryan and I would be left alone to stand out back while they crooned loving words with their babes.

It hurt, and I held Leah's hand a little tighter.

It's not that I didn't want her with Ryan, I did, I wanted her to be happy, I just didn't want to be alone. Ronnie left me, I couldn't have Leah leave me to.

We both headed for the beach chair and I slumped into it, pulling Leah down on top of me. She turned and cuddled into my neck and I held her close to me, rubbing my thumbs across her waist.

I could feel her breath slow against my neck, and I felt my own breathing slow as we closed our eyes.

Luna and Echo found us there 10 minutes later half-asleep.

I think Echo took a picture, and Luna laughed. "Do you guys do anything besides sleep?" she asked, grinning, and I shrugged.

"Sometimes we swear and dance" Leah said seriously, smirking.

Luna shook her head and grabbed my hands, pulling me up, Leah being pulled up with me.

We yawned and waved them away, slumping into each other again.

"No, guys, we're going surfing. Get off of your asses, quit your cuddling. Get your suits on, lets go" Echo said, and I looked at her surprised.

A year and a half ago I could hardly hear what she was saying, and now here she was, speaking loud and clear as she ordered us around, friendly ordering of course.

It made my heart swell to see how far she'd come. I grinned and hugged her, I couldn't help it.

Leah and I walked slowly into the cabin, rummaging through our bags until we found bathing suits. I grabbed a shirt with mine, uncomfortable with showing my body.

Leah had only packed bikinis, probably because she had expected me to be with Ronnie.

Ronnie. My eyes stung with tears just thinking about him. I shook my head and willed myself to not cry.
